Very evident that Gloria is passionate about wha she does. She is a caring, and fair Professor. With her, the amount of effort, and care you put into her class is what you get out, as far as your grade goes. Her lectures are a little lengthy, but are interesting. She does a good job at engaging her students, through lecture.

Comment:

Fantastic course to discover something about who you are through poetry. Would recommend to anyone even remotely interested in poetry. Your compiled work for the end of the semester is truly something to be proud of, and the professor encourages creativity of any kind.

Gloria is a nice and caring professor. However all the assignments are very unclear and vague. Often you find yourself trying to figure out what an assignment is. The workload is not terrible. She is a research paper heavy teacher so be prepared for those. She will help you become a better writer and always shows up late and keeps you the full time

One of the most interesting course in this school! She's an extremely fair grader, the workload isn't overwhelming at all, and the lectures are always interesting. A lot of non STEM majors take the class as well, so the class is extremely diverse. The stuff she teaches tend to be somewhat out of left field, but that's what makes the class exciting.

Even though this teacher is a bit of a boring teacher she honestly isn't that bad from other teachers. She may give 4 short essays and 2 long essays but those fly by and she knows how to enjoy the class. She takes you to a museum and you listen to punk rock so that's up to you if you enjoy that. Don't think your leaving early because she keeps you.

Great teacher! She really makes an effort to relate the material to you and tries to pick interesting stories that kids our age wouldn't mind reading. Few test, mostly essays but she gives plenty of time. Plus usually you get to chose the topic. and she shows movies in class. What more could you want? Took her twice and I highly recommend her

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of taking Glorias class, Her methods might scare some people at are school seeing as how it's so straight forward. People need to stop being so anal and open up to new methods of learning and experiencing the subject matter. I would take Glorias class over any other elective at WIT any day.
