This is a lab for anatomy. There is a 10 question quiz before each lab. They are easy is you put in the time each week to study the material. You must go in and actually study hands on for best result. Dr. A is very funny and is willing to help any student our as best as he can. You have to work and put in the time for a good grade.

There is a quiz at the beginning of each lab. The first half is on bones and the second half on muscles. For the bone quizzes, there will be ten areas on bones that you will need to identify. The muscles are looked at on the cadaver and you will need to be able to identify them on the cadaver. Class typically finishes early every time. Study!

Quizzes every lab so be there, be ready. For bones, you must go look at them to study. Manual is not helpful at all. Make time outside of class to look at the bones. He tells you that, and it's true. Good guy, funny and informative.

Great professor! Will help you when you need it. Funny and incredible knowledgeable. Has great clinical experience. If you want to learn anatomy, take him. Also, guides you in your professional choice. At times it could be difficult, but we all sign up for it. So, work on your memory.

Excellent professor, great help . All you need is to study. He will help you if you are willing to learn, but there is no time. Labs are more helpful than lectures.

You probably don't have many other options. The lab is very interesting, but Dr. A still speaks with a difficult Latvian accent. The lab midterm is mixed matching, which is the most confusing type of midterm possible. Do not expect to get an "A" on quizzes, even if you study. The lab is only worth 30% of the Anatomy grade, so don't worry too much.

If you want to learn take Dr.A. He helps not only with labs, but also guides in you professional choice. Dr.A knows his things. I recommend him.

Take him if you want to fail. He is the WORST professor. His lab exams and quizzes are impossible and he purposefully tries to trick students. Save your sanity and don't take him for any class he may "teach". He is the reason why I won't be getting into nursing school.

Best teacher ever! AP is a hard class, but if you study and come to the class. You will be fine. I liked dissections. This helped me a lot with muscles.

Very difficult to understand in lecture. Goes off on tangents that do not clarify anything he's trying to say. Questions on test are extremely hard and would be impossible to get right unless you could memorize everything he said, and even then he asks a lot of very weird questions full of minutia.

I was very disappointed with Anoufriev. I love anatomy but he made it miserable. Very confusing and hard to understand. He puts impossible questions on the test that, unless you remember his lectures word for word, you won't know. Taking Howell for lab was the only good part of this class.

I found the class appropriately challenging. I made an A in the class but chose to never correspond with him if I needed help because I saw some of the responses he had to some of my classmate's questions- very rude. He did call people out in class, and was very conniving when it came to taking attendance.

Students who wrote all negatives about Dr.A are one of those kids who are born to have only A’s and if it’s not going they way, they think that the problem is anybody else, but themselves. I had Dr.A for both AP’s. The best guy ever. If you are not happy, I have only one word â€" sucked up! He is the best! If you don’t liked go to the other places.

Just got on to look up another class and couldn't believe all the negative feedback. Anat & phys by nature is not an easy class and Anoufriev doesn't try to sugarcoat it. That being said, he is always in his office and willing to completely review class material. Attendance is not mandatory but highly recommended as lecture material is on the test.

Comment:

I have taken Dr. Anoufriev for both anatomy 1 and anatomy 2. He is one of the most fair professors I have ever taken. If you go to class and actually show some interest in your grade then you will do well. He doesn't believe taking shortcuts is the way to get a good grade and apparently that makes some people think he is a bad professor.
