Nashat was a wonderful teacher. As evident from other reviews, students with no intention of ever, you know, actually studying, will have a rough time. She had her views but was always open for debate. I'm amazed at the level of sheer disrespect shown to her by SOME students who shared her ethnicity/religion simply because she's a female teacher

This calss is not hard the exams are essays where she gives you some terms on a tudy guide and will pick 6 you write essays on 4. She is an easy grader its not uncommon to get 100%. There is a book but its useless all exam material comes from the selected readings on blackboard. Its an easy class but increadibly boring

She is nice but a horrible teacher. Tons of difficult reading that is not relevant to grading. She would pass out large loads of photocopied readings and even though there were only 12 students in my class, she failed to make enough copies often. Lectures are very boring and she has a tendency to dwell on her husband’s profession of economics.

The TA for spring 2006 sucks. He doesn't UNDERSTAND the subject, never is in his office during office hours, and takes alot of time off. I hate this class.

This professor makes difficult subject matter infinitely more difficult by neglecting to use any sort of visuals during her lectures, whatsoever. If you have trouble understanding her accent, as I did, be prepared for enormous amounts of reading as you attempt to figure out things on your own.

Nice teacher. You'll love her concept on history: she doesn't want you to memorize the date and facts, but know why things happened. (Of course you have to memorize Some facts). Overall, she's better than other history teachers. Got a B with minimum effort.
