he is very excited in teaching us. He summarizes and organizes stuff in the book very well; so we just keep listening. The text book is used as practice rather than learning information because he offers main points and supplemtary information as well. He is a good choice for us. Note: Do not think that his english might affect his lecture.

This guy is okay. The material is difficult and the tests are homework problems that people ask about in class. This makes them exceptionally difficult. He gives extra credit if you turn in every homework assignment--if you are missing one oh well, too bad.

Comment:

Discrete Math is a very difficult subject. Dr. Park was always very excited to be teaching, and took great pride in his work in and out of the classroom. At times it was hard to understand him but that just made me pay attention more.

Great professor, very enthusiastic! He was very helpful and cared about the performance of his students. Lectures were clear and so were the exams. The course itself is difficult, but he tried really hard to make the class understand the material.

(winter 2001) extremely hard class made even harder by his inability to speak English well; stutters a lot and repeats himself numerous times that you become lost; spent more time trying to decipher what he was talking about rather than learning material.

Dr. Park is great. He comes to class excited to teach us. He keeps us a bit late at times but it's hardly noticeable because the class is so interesting. His lectures are very clear and organized and his added material supplements the book's nicely.
