Dr. Coon's psych 100 class was definitely the hardest entry level psych class at NCC. There is a lot of reading, and notes, and the tests can be challenging. However, she is MORE than willing to help if you visit her office hours, whether it's for the papers, or the study guide. There are also NO surprise questions on her tests.

I believe she truely enjoys teaching others. You are going to do lots of work in any of her classes. Expect to spend a couple hours a day, everyday to complete all assignment and receive a good grade.

She was a good teacher. I enjoyed her class. She sets the bar high that's for sure but she also gives you the material you need to reach it. If you need help ASK. She will be more than happy to help. STUDY for her tests...lots of essay and she has clear expectations for them. Fun class, pushed myself, learned a lot and actually had a ton of fun!

Powerpoints get a little boring after a while but if you want help and go to her she'll definitely give you all the guidance you need. Tests weren't too bad if you study the reviews she gives out.

Very helpful, would put in time in and out of class, made class interesting, althought the essay tests would keep you up pulling all nighters preparing for them, but she is a legitimate grader and it is possible to get a good grade in her class.
