Not very good at teaching, but he curves his tests. Never responds to student emails. Instead of doing statistics on excel he makes students learn the formulas. Test are hard (no partial credit) but they're open-note tests. Really nice guy.

One of my favorite all time professors! 3 advanced degrees, and countless different methods of helping students understand something. If you get stuck, ASK! He goes out of his way for everybody. The most just grading curve around... his method allows everyone to get an A. Lots of extra credit, too, which isn't factored into the curve.

Grades on a bell curve which can really lower your letter grade and makes it hard to get an A. Allows open notes on tests (always has one trick question). Just know formulas and you'll pass.

Instructor was very disorganized and often off topic. His grading system was not efficient. He wasted much of our time telling pointless stories. Your time is better spent sleeping in and studying for the tests on your own through the book. If you want a professor worth your time, dont choose this one!

Whoa, what course was the previous student in? This was a terrific course with a terrific prof. Prof Russ was very organized and very fair with his grading. The course was difficult, but he made it understandable. He had many real life applications and was a tremendous help with my research paper. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and the prof.

unorganized and not clear how the exam will be! No partial credits, he looks at the last number of the calculation, which is unfair. He messed the grades by using the normal curve, he even couldn't get the correct grades. Don't take him!!!!!!!!

One hot kat! He's a great teacher, lots of fun stories, and surprise extra credit questions (keep up on current world news and politics.) Take copious notes since exams relate directly.
