Had him for every semester at NYIT and he means well he's just not a great professor. I've had four separate classes and he teaches the same thing in every one. Learned absolutely NOTHING about data structures in this class. His tests are also incoherent and usually have nothing to do with what he teaches in class.

This professor is nice. However, he tends to go off topic, with the intention to make us learn practically everything. As a programming professor...great...but Computer Architecture...well that's a different matter.

Easy-going professor. He loves telling stories about achievement and glory during lectures. Programming lab is quite easy if you stay organized and can find his bugs purposely inserted. His written tests are tougher, especially the first part.

Data Structures - This should have been a great class. Never opened the book and learned very little about data structures. Class was totally out of control, he could not keep order. Assignments seemed off the cuff and disorganized. Instructions were never clear resulting in a lot of extra, unnecessary work. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR.

Class taught entirely from his notes. Leaves blank spots in his notes, refuses to fill them in, expects you to google it. Terrible test review; only tells you half of the topics to be covered. Rude to students who ask legitimate questions. Assigned an expensive solar panel project, unrelated to the topic of the class. Would suggest you stay away.

There was very little teaching in this class. Speaking to people in other schools, Data Structures is an interesting class with important information. Jack Wu just talked about miniskirts (code is like one: shorter = better). Lots of jokes, lots of stories. But that doesn't equal teaching. I feel let down.

seams to teach philosophy not the actual subject he should be teaching, and his tests are horrible, his questions are vague and he takes lots of points off for stupid stuff that he never asked for (takes points off for not simplifying and not showing work, though he never asks, and then says its implied after you take the test)

He is informative, and will help you when you are confused or lost, but tends to stray away from some things. 3rd time i've had him, and the 3rd time i will expect a C. What can i say he is, who? WU! Not much work for this class, just one group project.

Very easy going professor with a very motivating attitude. Student has to keep up with the class a little more due to lack of clarity, but otherwise a very wise choice in the professor teaching process. Give him 5% of your salary, you get an A! hehe...just kidding:)
