Comment:

Globig is an amazing professor. He just got back from sabbatical, but he jumped right in. 408 is a lab class, so reports are due every week (outside of class, ugh), but he makes his grading criteria crystal clear, and is fair in grading. Lectures are pretty straightforward, but he keeps attention by at least being interesting. No attendance taken.

Comment:

Professor Globig is by far the best teacher in the ECT department. Once you get past the lower-level classes, you'll really appreciate Globig's teaching style. His classes are straight-forward and you know what he expects. Tests are just like the notes we take in class, so as long as you go to every class and take notes, you'll be fine.

Comment:

Professor Globig is one of those professors that is so tough, but so good. Very clear instruction, he teaches you how to think, not just information to regurgitate. His grading is quite picky and severe, but if you survive it, you'll be a solid engineer. You will leave his class knowing everything you need plus more.

He really knows his stuff and is a generally fun teacher once you get out of the intro class w nonmajors who dont care about circuits who he doesn't like working with. Circuits 2 is topically more challenging than Circuits 1 but he is still very helpful when approached. Also he is very considerate and even lenient with grading when he sees effort.

Very helpful in office hours. Tests are based on in class material not necessarily homework although homework is worth almost as much as tests when it comes to the final grade so DO IT! He will not give a crap about you if you do not show effort or care about his class. He knows when you are using the answer key and will fail you w/o warning you.

Globig was the best professor ever. He is hard, so you have to study a lot and do the homework. We used to call him at home for help even, he's great. I still keep in tough with him after college and even invited him to my wedding.

I have had Globig in so many classes. He is one of the best teachers in the engineering department. You will learn so much from him...and he's so funny. Plus he's just a general good guy all around. Don't goof off in his classes and you will do well.
