This women single seriously convinced me to choose accounting as my major, and i'm loving it. She taught everything so well and it was actually fun attending class, you have to go o class and pay attention, but tht true for every class, i would definitly recommend her to anybody! Greatest teacher ever!

Wow. I can't believe she is still there. Anyway I had her in 1988-89 (20 years ago). I switched from engineering to accounting. She made me like accounting. I stuck with the profession. I have BSC (UTD) and MBA. Now makes really good $$$. I thank her for that. Lots of home work and self study of textbook. Don't know if she is too old now??

Some of the prior comments are quite true. She does favor students with attention. I don't think this equates to higher grades though. The grading seems to be fair. I could easily have taken this online. I learn more from the online resources than from her. Students have a problem reading her handwriting and have inquired of her, but w/o remedy.

She's a best teacher. i took her class not so long ago. She doesnt cover much lecture and gives a lot of example which is most on the test. Read the book, listen to her and do your work, thats all you have to do. Take Ms. Anderson instead of Pilcher. I took Pilcher and worked my butt off, and got a D in that class. Then took Ms. Anderson and made an A, even though it was flexterm. Pilcher cannot teach. period.

Horrible. She hardly ever remembers what shes talking about. I personally think she shouldnt be teaching anymore. she DEFINITELY picks favorites. writes a TON of stuff all over the board and forgets and gets confused.. I averaged high A's on the tests and still managed to make an overall low final grade. Doesnt know what she's doing. Should retire.

Do not take her. She is extremely insincere and quickly decides whether or not she likes you. You can't leave the class even to get water, and if you're even a minute late for a test you're locked out of the class unless you're one of her favorite students. She is extremely redundant and sucks at explaining stuff. She needs to retire asap

She is the worst teacher I have ever had. I am a 4.0 student, did everything she required yet the tests had nothing to do with anything she went over in class. And she doesn't pick favorites, you're just mad because you're not too smart in accounting and blaming a professor to explain your grades is the easiest thing to do. She is kind of a moody teacher and decides quickly if she likes you or not. She is not the best at explaining things and the tests can come from notes, the book, or somewhere in the back of her mind. She says hw is optional, but will often surprise pick it up, make sure you do hw and all bonus assignments, it will help you pass!
