Comment:
Absolutely awful teacher. Notes are totally unorganized and all he does is talk about the way programming was in the 60's. He always asks if we understand and then keeps moving, regardless of any questions. Textbook is irrelevant and only used for homework. He just needs to retire.

Extremely nice professor. Class was easy enough, do the homework, 2 projects, and 2 exams. Both exams were done outside of class on your own time. Accepts late work for a minimal deduction on the grade. Textbook is old and needs to be updated. Likes to talk about history of CS. Lectures don't seem to relate to the homework very much.

BORING! Take at your own risk. It is pretty much self taught. I learned how to sleep with my eyes open.

Very flexible and lenient with assignments. Has an annoying tendency to raise his voice for absolutely no reason to emphasize absolutely nothing. He's a nice guy and knows his stuff. Definitely would take him again!

I don't get the last rating. Gives relevant examples, gives you c++ to convert, tells you how to convert, tough class, tough test, but told us what would be on it, not to awful if you studied. Curves at the end of the semester.

I dont show up to his class because he confuses me even further. I honestly wish Batra would come back. Other than that he's decent. Doesnt teach the actual course material though.

The sooner he retires the better. He cant teach for nuts. He expects students to learn from 700-page text books. Students are expected to do everything on their own. Mrs. Kasube the best teacher passed away -its always the good profs that God wants nearby

Doesn't explain anything, talks about how he has been programming for over 30 years... and then assigns projects that take over 30 hours of straight typing... hard to understand or stay awake, always takes 5 min over the class period

Chairperson of the CSIS department. Definitely knows his stuff. Very lenient about classwork, and lots of freedom for students. Best teacher I've had this semester, just watch out when you ask him a question: He gives the long response.
