I will never forgot this professor. I had always considered myself a good writer, so I was shockedwhen I got a D+ on the first paper I wrote for him. When I asked him how I could improve, he had me come to his office and spent his own time teaching me how I could improve. My writing has become much more clear and concise as a result!!

I had him as a frosh in 1986-87 and he was the best prof I ever had. He taught us to enjoy poetry. I was amazed at how much ne knew about almost anything -- school related or not. Huge sports fan. Helped me a lot.
