DO NOT miss class. I am excellent at math and I struggled. I recommend taking this with a cake liberal arts class because you have to do a ridiculous amount of studying to do ok. I also suggest taking a hiatus from your social lifetoo. He over complicates some things. Take detailed notes. There's no notes allowed on the midterm/final which stinks.

Mr. Sanders is a great teacher! Statistics is hard even if you like math, in my opinion. He is more than willing to help you with the minitab projects or go over any questions. Be prepared to put in the work to get a good grade. You also will not need the book. It helps to follow along in class, but not necessary. I would definitely take him again.

I took Sanders for Statistics. It's a hard class but he will go over anything you have problems with. You can get by by using the PowerPoint slides so you don't need the textbook. I don't get or even like Math but he's the best math prof I've had. Highly recommend him for "in class" rather than someone else online.

Absolutely love Mr. Sanders! I had him for a couple weeks for 1530, but had to drop that class -- it's hard! However, I did take 1010 and he chooses to teach Cryptanalysis and Finance and I passed his class easily! He's very understanding and willing to help you! No textbook is needed

He is a good teacher. Take a lot of detailed notes during lecture because they will help you when you study. Don't buy the hard copy of the book, on the first day of class he'll give you a link to buy the online version of it. It's cheaper and it has videos you can watch for the hard stuff you don't understand. It's a lot of work but he's great.

This was a very difficult class in my opinion. He teaches the course well and is always available to help students. There is a lot of course work that needs to be completed in order to get a good grade in class. He makes the test questions tricky and the final was a compilation of all the questions that students got wrong on the other tests.

Some people complain that it's hard, but that's because they don't put the effort. Be ready to study for hours but he's the best Statistics teacher in my book. He's very clear on the assignments and grading. Don't miss a class because you'll miss almost an entire chapter. He's willing to answer questions and help students learn. Great teacher!

He has the crazy professor style. Very willing to help, you can't afford to miss class. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK FOR THIS CLASS!! You will never open it and the book is available online for free. You will pay for coursecompass, but at a prorated price after the class starts. The unnessccery package from APSU bookstore was $250.

Mr. Sanders is a great math professor, he will bend over backwards to help you and always takes time to answer questions. I found it helpful to go to the study reviews that his PA held the day before each exam! He will also help you out alot with the projects, you just have to ask him!

Excellent professor! He really does care that the students learn mathematics and he is great at teaching it. You can see the passion that he has for the subject and that is a remarkable thing for this particular subject. For those that say he?s a bad professor they failed the class and are just angry about their grade because they expected to wa

This is one those professors who actually care that their students learn. He has a great sense of humor. You have to understand that this is a Math class, and you will have to devote some time to assignments and reviews. If you expect to pass a class just because you registered or showed up than this is not for you.

Math is one of hardest subjects & a mature age student returning back to college. His such a great teacher. Make sure you keep up with homework and when not understanding anything ask for help. Don't feel like you can't ask him. Wish most professor were so helpful as Mr. Sanders. Great teacher

I'm a terrible math student. Thanks to Mr. Sanders, I finally got through the DSPM and ended up getting an A in Math 1010. Mr. Sanders will help you if you show initiative and really want to get through the course. But he doesn't sugar-coat it - DSPM is not easy - in fact, my regular college math course was much easier.

Not clear and very hard to understand where he was coming from. Told the class that most of us would fail. Do not take him if you have a choice.
