Being present is essential because he tests directly from his notes so you really do need good notes and you need to know those notes inside and out because his tests are no joke. Lectures can get a bit tedious but he tries to explain things in a way that even the struggling student can understand--and he does terrible grandpa jokes and puns!

Dr. Glenn is an amazing professor. He goes completely above and beyond trying to help his students and provides them with every option possible to make the best grade. He will help you out if you ask and come to class. Be prepared, though. Physics is no walk in the park.

Dr. Stracher is awesome!! If you're looking for a teacher who know's their stuff, who will bend over backwards to help you, and will make learning about rocks fun then he's the teacher you need. As long as you study what he tells you to study then you will do well in the class.

The class is easy. Until lecture exams. They cover ALOT. But the labs aren't too bad, and if you study for the rock exams they aren't too awful. He gets a little cranky sometimes, but it's more funny than scary. I enjoyed the class, although I hate every rock with a passion. Take it if you need an easy science! I gaurantee it's better than biology!

Stracher is an awesome teacher. he might get mad and blow his top from time to time but he really means well. He's very nformative and I have never had a teacher that knew his material as well as him ....maybe thats why he's working on a textbook of his own now.
