Dr. Terner is adorable and sweet, but his lectures are boring and he puts me to sleep. He is soft spoken and spends one entire class deriving a single equation. It's hard to keep paying attention.

Best professor for PCHEM. If you take the time to do the homework and understand the class notes, it should not be difficult to do well in this course. He is extremely fair, nothing is really out of the blue. Tests are all short answer, but he believes in partial credit.

He's the sweetest old man ever! His lectures may be really dry and he spends the entire time working on 2 problems, but he is always willing to help. You should go to class, take notes and redo the homework in order to get an A in the class! His curve was nice too. One of the best professors I've ever had!

Pretty awesome guy. Went very slow but the facilitated better understanding of the material. If you have not taken a thermodynamics course prior to this class; you must work your ass off to understand the identities. Just pay attention to the notes and make sure you reference the book for the specifics taught in class.

If you're pre-med or pre-pharm you will not be prepared for the mcat or pcat. You'll pass because he has to ridiculously curve it so the whole doesn't fail but you won't know anything.

DON'T. He's a nice guy. That's it though. If you want to work out of a hard to follow textbook and spend nights looking for help on youtube, then go ahead and take his class. In short, he does not teach the material. I wish I could have dropped this class.

...? Read the book, teach yourself. Go to SI sessions. His teaching method sucks. Luckily he makes his quizzes and tests doable. He even gives you practice questions for them so you know what kind of problems to study! Yes, they're Free Response, BUT Free Response = Partial Credit. Which is better than receiving no credit. Strange class...

Nice guy, terrible teaching style. All tests are handwritten, NO MULTIPLE CHOICE. He was really unorganized and everyone in my class was always angry at him for it. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, go with Polo, she's amazing.

I found Dr. Terner to be a delight. His tests were easier versions of the questions he went over in class. I'm not sure what lack of social skills the previous reviewers are citing; I absolutely adore this man. He's a sweetheart and I can't keep from smiling throughout his class.

Tests based on quizzes, both of which are extremely easy. He goes over practice problems that are almost identical to the quiz later in the week, so acing it is cake. I got A's on everything, although the final was surprisingly difficult, but still got an A in the class. Lectures fluctuate between greatly helpful to utterly numbing and useless.

Not sure why there are negative comments. I find his class to be extremely easy. Most people come to his class and either talk the entire time, or leave after clicker questions. Blame yourselves for failing such an easy course. I have gotten A's on every quiz and received a 98% on my last exam. Great professor, whose social skills are fine...

Really smart guy, absolutely terrible professor. If for some god forsaken reason you get stuck with him, be prepared to read the book A LOT because that's the only way you'll learn. He's just an awkward person with no social skills at all. He's a really nice guy so I feel awful for saying this but the message needs to be out there, AVOID HIS CLASS

His class is awesomely clear. The 101 and 102 guys are the guys who can't really analyze the problem perfectly. Hence, blame their instructors or TA's. Guys, you need to work more.

Well..... He is not the best maybe the worst but I have to say i was surprise about the grade I received. I didn't pass any of my test but one, which was a C and ended up getting a B in the class. You see with Terner he grades on the how the whole class is doing. which is okay because i came out with a decent grade.
