She made me love Spanish even more than I did before. She gives you more chances than you deserve to rewrite essays, and she's wonderful with explaining grammar and makes it less tedious. Wonderful person to have conversations with, and has a fantastic sense of humor. Would recommend to anyone who wants to improve their Spanish writing, worth it!

She is so fun and entertaining. She makes class have a social environment. Very laid back. She makes you interact but you will learn better that way. She explains questions you have very well. The class was very easy. Tests hardly had tough grammar. They mostly comprised of class readings, short films, and small grammar free responses or personal options on the class.

Lulú is a fantastic professor. She is really understanding if you need any help and makes the exams understandable and easy. She posts practice exams and encourages us to talk in class without judgement of accent, pronunciation, or grammatical mistakes. She does make sure we correct the mistakes.

My first impression of Lulu was... not the best to say the least. She was the first professor I had who actually made me work, and didn't accept less than my potential. I actually came out of her class knowing more than what I started, which never has happened in a Spanish class for me before. I respect her for making me learn more.

I love Panbehchi! She is so sweet and really wants you to learn the material. She is passionate about teaching and always tries to incorporate everyday things into class and things she's teaching. She does make you participate, but doesn't make you feel bad if you get an answer wrong. Overall she's super adorable and not a tough grader, just study!

She's that one teacher you can really establish a relationship with. She's not intimidating she's welcoming and helpful and easy to talk to. And she makes her students laugh! At the same time, it was a great class and I learned a lot. It's hard to balance fun and efficiency, but Lulu does it.

I love Lulu. She is the best professor--always willing to help you with grammar and writing, and integrates a variety of assignments/activities into the class to enhance learning. She is clear, straightforward, and her assignments are more focused on your improvement in Spanish. Definitely the Spanish professor to take if you have the opportunity!

Lulu is great. She has the best personality, and I have learned more from her class than all of my other Spanish courses at VCU combined. I took 300 with Middlebrooks in the spring for 2 weeks, dropped because she was nuts, then took Lulu in the fall. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!

This woman amazes me. A double mastectomy for breast cancer and she's back in class a week later! And she never stopped being bubbly and helpful. She is a little disorganized, but if you email her with a question she'll always get back to you. MUCH easier than the Mr. Panbehchi

VERY FUN AND ENERGETIC. ALWAYS SMILES, is not afraid to look silly. The class becomes playful but studious around her because she's just so nice. Reading a short story or clip for homework every class n speak about it. 2-3 verb quizzes. rest is, of course, speaking and just giving opinions and having easy convos. ALOT better in speaking now

Daily class for 5 weeks. She kept it moving. Never boring. Very fair grader (on the easy side). Native speaker, teaches in Spanish, big plus for listening comprehension. Highly recommend her. Uses technology, and it is an assset. Doesn't overwhelm you. She is a huge asset to VCU. Get her class if at all possible.

A very nice lady, but sometimes all over the place. I think she tries too hard to incorporate her knowledge of computers into her lessons, it comes across as forced sometimes to use the computer in such a way.

She must have been scatterbrained this semester or something because we never knew what homework was due. She was funny, helpful, very computer literate (maybe too dependent on it) and a little corny. Good teacher overall.
