He is by far the best English teacher, and teacher in general, I have ever had. I was already a good writer before his class, but he made me great. I would recommend him to anyone who is SERIOUS about writing, not someone who can barely put two words together. He is very helpful and has high standards, but they serve a purpose. Amazing teacher!

I really enjoyed Jami's class! He's an awesome teacher that really cares about your success in his class as well as college as a whole. I've taken him twice and have yet to be dissapointed, he's really a great teacher all around!

I thought the Class was great. I did not recieve a very high grade, but i also have been out of school for eleven years. I wish could take more of his classes at the Warrington Campus. I recommend Jami's class to anyone.

He was a really awesome teacher. He helped me with my writing and he always made himself available if you needed him. He was a little tough and he holds very high standards for his students but it really helped me improve my writing. Great teacher!

He's a totally awesome teacher. I would recommend him completely. He's an awesome character but he helps you to understand what you're writing about, and he does workshops which helps you to revise and get opinions on your papers. He's totally awesome. Definitely recommend him! :)

Jami is an interesting character. His personality is somewhat extreme but overall a great teacher. I plan on taking him for ENC1102. His teacher strategy is great for a new college student. He does expect a lot out of his students but all the work is worth it in the end. I would definently reccomend him.

Jami is hard, only because he WANTS you to learn. I took him for all of my english classes. Although he is a very sacarstic person, all and all he's a good teacher. Be prepared to read the material. Really easy test though, he pretty much outlines what will be on the test. I reccomend his class.

Great teacher. Expects alot, and provides a demanding work load. Pay attention and take part in the class discussions, read the stories, and don't procrastinate, you'll do great. Highly recommend to anyone to take the class if you want to actually learn something and aren't looking for an easy A. You aren't given a grade here...you earn it.

Benton plays games. He likes to keep students guessing on how they are doing in his class. He started off with around 30 students at the first part of the semester and ended with 9 because everyone dropped the course. He can be vulgar and rude to students openly. I passed, but it cost an arm and a leg. He will make you write until your hands die.

I wish Jami could teach all of my classes. He's the first person ever to make me seriously consider majoring in lit or teach. I have thoroughly enjoyed his class and in fact, I look forward to it every day. It's not insane work but just keep up with everything, read, and know your stuff and you'll be fine. That applies to college in general...

If you enjoy english/literature, take Jami. I cannot say how much I enjoyed the class. He will teach you so much. It can be discouraging with the VERY HEAVY workload, but keep your chin up because every minute is worth it. You need to take Jamis class if you are serious about learning. Do not slack in this class ( you will pay greatly).

Mr. Benton is definately no push over! ha ha. He is very helpful even for onliners. I've never met him in person but he has definately made Eng Comp online a learning experience. I would recommend him to anyone.

Fabulous teacher! He can be intimidating at first, but that is because he expects you to do your best as a student and as a person. He clearly explains all assignments that are due, and is available any time for questions/revisions/advise. He is a humorous teacher, incorporates interactive learning, and makes the subject matter interesting!
