I had her for crim 403 winter class. Although you are combining a 14 week class into 3 weeks, this isnt a hard class because she is very sweet, kind, and wants her students to pass. I have always had trouble with teachers here seeming to not want to help me, but she always did. Wish I had her for another crim class!

Summer online class. This class requires a lot of time spent on it. A lot of material covered over the 3 weeks that she tries to jam in. You need to get online everyday and do discussions. Class isn't bad if you aren't a busy person. You need the textbook to pass. She seems nice but is very strict.

Enjoys the work she teaches. Syllabus explains everything the class will be about. She follows it exactly so you can never get confused. Participation is a must in this class. If you don't speak up, your grade will reflect. Do all of the assignments, come to class on time, and participate and you're guaranteed an A or B.

Professor Martin teaches straight with a powerpoint, but the book is also necessary in order to do well. She is wiling to help and accommodate you as much as possible. I would definitely take another class from her.

Deserved in A in the class, she goes out of her way to take points of to make sure her students do not do as well as they should (She takes arbitrary points off whenever she can). Also assigns a group project where you are completely responsible for the work of your group members (you have to babysit your group because if they fail so do you.)

Easy teacher! 12 moodle quizzes, a couple in/out class assignments, and 4 exams (you drop lowest exam). Gives TONS extra credit! I didn't even have to take the last 2 quizzes or final because I had such a high grade. Don't listen to others. Come to class and you will be fine. Easy A!

She was a really nice person but not a good teacher. there were a lot of moodle quizzes and she didn't give much time for them and we never knew what would be on the quizzes. I love criminology so much but she made it hard for me to really understand what was happening in the class. there also wasn't very much bonus which was very unhelpful.

Nice prof. & the class is fairly simple (I did okay cause I was being lazy). Moodle quizzes, some extra credit work, & power points in class. The only thing I didn't like was she didn't give out study guides for the exams. But, if you go to class, pay attention, and take notes on the chapters, you should do fine. I would recommend taking her...

I took her online course, she gives you no study guides and a couple useless powerpoints... She expects you to take a 10 question chapter quiz on a 50 page chapter with no reference on what to study whatsoever.

I thought Dr. Martin was a great prof. She was always helpful when I needed her, always answered her emails and class wasn't bad at all. Take the post quizzes and study those for your tests. The tests are straight forward. Overall I suggest taking her!

Look, she's easy and pretty nice to me. All you do is watch slides, and take notes. All the notes are taken exactly from the book. you have a post quiz every week on the chapters in the book online but come on you have a week to take it. The exams are on the chapters you cover. She even gives bonus points for things. ITS NOT HARD and she IS nice
