Beware of the online class. Did not give feedback and did not respond very quickly to emails. Just basically expected you to read the chapters several times and then take quizzes and test that did not seem to be covered in the chapters. Very hard class :(

The class is easy. You occasionally use the book, rent it from amazon. Just do the assignments and you will pass. There is no cumulative final in this class! I highly recommend taking this class.

I wish I would have taken it with someone else. She loves to take off points on everything that you do. Her test are worded weird, they will trick you and stump you. You will catch her saying one thing while lecturing and then you get the answer wrong on the test. Don't miss class because you can't turn things in the next class and get full credit

I took DEP2001 Online and it was a great class- the book is wonderful but I have kids so it is useful to my personal life. The weekly tests are not too hard but can't be done without reading. The 5 exams have TOO short time allowed which makes them hard but made high A due to my high attention to detail. Careful reading is a MUST for ALL chapters!

She works really hard to prepare for our class. She expects us to have done the homework & if you do it is half of your grade in the course. Much more fair than a college professor gives you a total of 3 exams and that is it!

This teacher is great! All of her assignments and tests, including the final exam are on eLearning. She is really nice and very helpful. She does use the textbook every class and goes over all the chapters. There are no papers in her class, although she does like to do group assignments in class. Other than that, she is awesome!

Do not take her online. She is rude and do not give any extra credit. She makes up stupid scenario and expects you to find the term that she referring too. I was warned not to take her in class or online but I did anyways and it cost me. Lots of work. She is not the nicest. She have online assignments due on FRIDAys (every). Test due on Sunday.

Very well prepared and kept the class interesting. My only complaint is that her online tone with her students is abrupt and a little rude however, that my be as a result of having to communicate with so many students from so many different classes. Other than that, I highly recomend her diversity class.

She is awesome!!!She really knows her stuff and makes the class so comfortable when teaching about sensitive subjects (race,religion,etc,). I saw some previous post that said all her work is on Angel but she didn't use it much for my class, just power point notes. I would definitely recommend taking her, one of my favorite professors.

The class is hard at first, but it gets easier after a couple weeks. Just do the homework on ANGEL and you will be fine. If you have the power point notes in front of you for the chapter quizzes you WILL ace the test! I never read the book once. I'm doing fine in that class. She is a very nice lady.

Hard in the beginning, be ready to work each week, each chapter online is laid out the same way, easier as semester goes on -- learned some very interesting information, will help me as a teacher. Ms. Spruill isn't afraid to talk about touchy topics, good class discussions.
