This class consists of online quizzes, clicker questions, module problems (short answer assignments), and 3 midterm exams (non-cumulative) + a final exam (cumulative). 1 quiz was dropped & lowest exam score is dropped. CAUTION: She tends to rush through her slides, so make sure to study her slides several days before the test. No curve at the end.

Really not a fan of the way she teaches. She goes through her lecture slides too fast, which makes it difficult for anybody to take notes during class. She also doesn't emphasize what's going to be on the exams, so I was stuck memorizing random information & hoping that the questions on the test reflected what I studied. Pointless class, really.

She tends to rush through the lectures and doesn't explain concepts very clearly. Decent professor, not the best.

She's talks down to her students and doesn't make lecture entertaining. you'll want to fall asleep during class when she's talking. The class is already tough enough without fighting to stay awake. Make sure you know someone that has already taken this course to help you navigate what to study for the exams

She is a decent lecturer. Goes pretty fast, so you're out of class pretty early. The class is test heavy. One exam is dropped. Exams are very detailed and you have to know everything. You have to study for hours, and days before to do well. It is achievable if you're willing to do the work.

Dr. Wilson-Rawls is very nice and easy to talk to outside of class. I'm not a big fan of how her lectures are structured, but they are clear when reviewing after class. She speeds through lectures, which is nice because the class ends up being 50 minutes rather than 75, but sucks if you're taking notes in class. Lots of info but tests are fair.

Yikes. This was one of the most difficult classes I have ever taken. A lot of it is bulk memorization but it's interesting stuff so that makes up for it. Jeanne is a nice woman and incredibly smart but honestly not the best lecturer. Good class overall.

O-chem, biochem, calculus, (insert tough class here), and it would be cake compared to this class. The hardest class I have taken. To make it worse, grade scale has minuses. Avoid unless memorization of tons and tons of material that you'll forget by next semester is your thing. Test are hard. Word is that the online Summer class is much easier.

Took B session this Summer. Pass the class with an A-. Just watch the lectures and look over the lecture slides before you are taking your tests. Discussion is easy and there was about 6 quizzes (for each video) for each module. Its honestly easy if you just watch lectures and the slides. I recommend taking it in the summer. Its honestly easy.

This is the third week in and she has been making the quizzes progressively harder, to the point where her lectures/powerpoints do a very poor job of teaching the quiz material. The test averages were pretty high but continue to drop. Seems like she doesnt want people to do well. HORRIBLE TEACHER AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Hardest class I've ever taken in my life but also my favorite class I've ever taken! Material is a lot of memorization, take notes, exams are multiple choice. Recording lectures a good idea. Very difficult subject but 3 years after taking it, I still remember more than I have in most other classes! Very interesting topics and teacher is nice.

She's a really bad lecturer. He slides range from having way too much information on them to having nothing on them at all, so it's hard to know what you need to study. Tests aren't that hard if you go to the review sessions though. Hard class, but doable if you put the work in.

Her slides are kinda terrible and she is unclear as to what she expects. But she does seem to enjoy teaching which is nice. Do NOT ask questions during class; she never answers them directly. Class is perfectly doable and you will learn a lot of interesting stuff. Definitely my favorite class at ASU. Awesome material and Kusumi made the class fun!

This went from a class I was dreading, to my favorite course at ASU so far, and a graduate in May. Dr. Wilson Rawls' passion 4 the material, & eagerness 2 ensure the students had a good understanding, made her 1 of the most caring and exciting prof Ive had. Exams weren't difficult, & most questions were taken directly from slides. Drop lowest exam

This was a really hard class but completely do-able if you put the time in. She is a good professor and you can absolutely learn from her. The key to my success in the class was TO RECORD EVERYTHING. She talks to fast to take notes but if you go home and re-listen to what she said in class you will destroy the test, which were very fair.

I dreaded going to this class when she taught, I felt like I didn't learn from her powerpoints flooded with information. She was hard to understand and I emailed her before and she was absolutely no help and even ignored one of my emails. Avoid class with her!
