Mr. Stady was fantastic. He was always available to help students outside of class and was kind and gracious enough to give me some extensions on work when I was struggling (because I'm no good at math). He was great at teaching and easy to get a hold of. When I needed help he was able to explain things well. I'd give him an honest 10 out of 10.

Jeff was a marvelous stats146 professor. I am one who is not good at math, AT ALL! Considering how difficult statistics is and me not having a strong point in math, I passed. Jeff changed this with his willingness to help and thorough teaching style. He is very flexible, has good office hours & is a huge help overall.

Stady is extremely helpful with anything you may need. He teaches at a fast pace to get through all the material. The class itself is very hard however Stady makes it bearable. Really great guy, always in a good mood and happy to answer any questions. He seems to know everything to do with Pre-Calc. Very tech savvy as well so class runs smoothly.

Took 142 precalc and enjoyed his teaching style. He was very patient with everyone in the class and took the time to help us understand all aspects of the class. Gave lots of opportunities to succeed. Best math teacher I have ever had.

Take it online. Do the reading. Do the homework. Take the exams. You'll do fine. There are extra credit opportunities. He allowed two pages, front and back, during the final. Easy A so long as you don't skip assignments. He also allowed the final grade to also become the grade for your lowest exam score if it benefited you. Lots of ways to pass.

Lots of extra credit assignments. Vocabulary heavy (understandable for stats). Final was easy to get through with proper studying (vocab memorization) and notes with all the calculator equation hints.

Jeff was the best math teacher I've ever had. He made videos that explained the concepts, would reply to any email with a full explanation, and we used all the special functions on the calculators to make the class very easy. I thought I hated math before this class, but I realized I just hated the teachers I had.

I hate math, and this class was a great time. I learned a lot from his clarity and his responses and helpfulness are saving. He added online lecture recordings that keep your attention and give great examples for understanding.

Stady is an excellent teacher. Very quick to respond and lots of communication. He is always willing to help and never makes you feel dumb for asking. Math is difficult, and he doesn't make his class easy, but he does make it possible to understand and even get A's on assignments. If math is hard for you, I absolutely recommend him.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. He made sure everyone understood what he was trying to teach them. I thought I was bad at math, but I actually understood everything and he made it easy to understand the material. I usually got over 100% on the test, which was awesome. Used smart board and answered any questions. Notes available online. (:

Mr. Stady is great. Since this was my first semester in college I was very worried about Math. I didn't do well in high school and I've been out of school for 8 years. Mr. Stady makes you feel like there are no stupid questions. He is extremely helpful and nice. Everything is straight forward and have already signed up for my next math with him.

Excellent teacher. After taking 97-99 as well as 146 with him, I no longer tell people that I'm "not good at math" - I just had the wrong teachers. Jeff is incredibly helpful and will go over a problem with a student for as long as it takes for that student to understand the concept. Best teacher I've ever had.

I agree that Stady is among the best-- he has a way of explaining concepts that make sense to a number of different learning styles-- not just the highly-technical math-minded individual. He also has a ridiculously adorable smile-- watch for it when he asks whether there are any questions.

Possibly the best Math instructor ever, extremely helpful, takes the time to make sure everyone is on the same page, I was a c,d. math student before his math series now A's.. he should teach teachers how to teach!!
