Comment:

Straight forward and concise with the lessobs. Whatever he went over in class will be the material on the exams, just be sure you understand the concept. Take advantage of the extra credit given throughout the semester, it adds up. Drops one lecture exam. Lab was difficult, its all self study. Highly recommend his class.

I guess he is an alright teacher. But I do not approve how he has low patient levels and gets irritated easily. He also seems to be busy during office hours.

Crimando is a great teacher. Lecture was easy, LAB WAS THE HARDEST. He would go over the slides, or point out the bones/muscles, but then the rest of lab was self-study. Not completely horrible, I just wish there were more exercises in-lab. JUST BE READY TO STUDY (obvi). I failed, unfortunately, taking again. Lab was what I failed, lecture passed.

This is a hard subject and he makes the class even harder, its not worth taking him because he doesn't really teach you anything. You have to learn everything yourself. He doesn't help you if you need help. Also if you fail the first 2 quizzes he drops you from his class with an F! I will never take him as a teacher EVER AGAIN!

His exams are tough and the review he provides is basically for the quizzes .Be prepare to have 2 exams in one day (lab and lecture) but if you use your in class-time wisely you shouldnt have to worry. He's also very condescending when a student tends to ask a question. Extra credit is offered on quizzes and spelling is IMPORTANT.

I understand what he is trying to teach, which is if you truly want it, you will work for it. Overall he was a good teacher but for those who have test anxiety it made this a difficult class. He is tough but only cause he is passionate about the future medical students. Advice- Study!! Not a class you can breeze through.

Crimando knew what he was teaching and told a few funny stories in class but when it came to teaching the material he was very bland about how he taught it and didn't help out on how to remember it. there were at least 5 questions on each test he didn't cover, which on his 50 question tests brings you down a whole letter grade missing those.

Crimando is great. Yeah he is strict, but he gives great lectures along with materials to succeed. It is definitely an intensive class that you will spend lots of outside class time on. Honestly, if you work for it you can pass the class.

This is a very tough subject& a very tough teacher. When we asked him what would be on the quizzes he would tell us one thing and the quizzes would be on a complete different subject. He does not much info on his powerpoints, so you have to be a fast writer and write everything he says down:(

Mr. Crimando is a smart teacher but he also answers every questions with sarcasm. Don't forget to put your name or student ID number he'll either take points off or give you a ZERO! He is not passionate at anatomy I do not get that from his lectures. If you have test anxiety or just understanding the body try to taking with another teacher

He's very passionate about anatomy. He provides a lot of resources to help with the material. You have to apply yourself, it's not an easy class by any means. I learned a lot from his teaching. He lets you drop your lowest test and quiz grade. I just wish he used canvas.

Had this instructor in Fall '15. Material was dense and rigorous. You will struggle if you just show up to lectures and expect to breeze through. You will need to apply yourself outside of class. I learned a ton! I'd sign up for additional classes with him.

Dr. Crimando has been an amazing professor for BIO201. He gives you all of the tools you need to succeed. He makes his lectures interesting and occasionally tells a funny joke or story. His tests are difficult but as long as you attend lecture and lab and go over your notes you should do well. He creates his own Quizlets which are also helpful.

Dr. Crimando was my 1st College Biology Prof. The material is dense if you are new to the world of Biology. The Lectures and labs are very interesting and Dr. Crimando has a passion for teaching-the material is also organized nicely. I would recommend him to my peers.

Dr. Crimando is an interesting person, but don't let his uninterested attitude scare you off. He provides Very Helpful resources on his website and vocab guides. Do those and you'll be fine! He also does/says some really funny things when lecturing, so pay attention to those gems! His class is tough, but he is a good guy. Wish I had 202 w/him! (

Crimando is so smart, he loves teaching anatomy. I took him for both 201 and 202, and at times it was frustrating! But, I can assure you that if you attend class, and pay attention to what he is asking for that you can get a B. If you make this class part of your life everyday you can get an A. I enjoyed it so much, and learned so much!
