I have her for private lessons. Great teacher, you can tell she wants you to progress as a musician and is very knowledgeable. Be ready to work hard, it will pay off. Overall great teacher but her age is starting to show.

I really don't think she's as bad as everyone is saying. She's a piano teacher...what do you really expect? If you're a music major, having her as a teacher is helpful. She does make you work hard, but it's your MAJOR which means it will clearly help you out in the long run. I'd rather her over other piano teachers..

Not qualified to teach piano majors. Might be ok for minors if she would just grow up already...students don't always get to practice, they have busy lives. STOP taking it personally! Finally, I really can't figure out how she wins these teaching awards.

Terrible teacher. Has made me want to kill myself everytime i sit down and/or even look at a piano. Very full of herself and sarcastic to students. Taking her class is inavoidable...just be prepared.

Extremely impossible to deal with. She never tries to help you out and rarely has time to meet with you. As my advisor, she is horrible...she is trying to make it nearly impossible to graduate. She tries to make you take classes that you don't need.
