EFB 340 is the best class I've taken so far. Castello prints out all the slides and is there for all the labs to answer questions. He's hilarious which keeps lectures interesting. Material is straight from slides.

Costello is an interesting professor. He talks and thinks that he knows everything. But let's you know exactly what's gonna be on the exam. Curses a lot in lecture, but in a somewhat funny way. Prints out lectures for students so they're ready for you there. A lot of material to know but definitely do-able.

Hard class, but he is a great teacher. If you show up and put the effort in you'll do ok. He's very intelligent and his sense of humor alone makes going to class worth it most days. Highly recommend the class.

(Peoples, Plagues and Pests.)No book. Not afraid to speak his mind. Very clear in his expectations, one of which is to think critically and infer from given information. He is fascinated by the subject, and passionate about it (especially historical injustices and current sociopolitical issues). He's really quite amusing in lecture. Jokes happen.

Awesome professor! Hilarious when he gets excited about something. Very smart guy! Make sure you know what you are asking, b/c if you ask a silly question, you will not get a response.

Extremely funny! Test questions are difficult. You have to be able to apply the material learned to a real life situation. Questions almost seem like they have nothing to do with what he taught. Can't just memorize, you have to be able to comprehend the reading. If you go to his office he's extremely helpful. Great lab instructor.
