Horrible teacher, and person. Has been suspected of impropper relationships with students. His research and research students are a joke and have no real substance. He is also unfair. His cell bio is a complete waste. I am currently in grad studies and the information that should have been presented in his class is a necessity!!

I've taken Dr. Egan for 2 classes and he is the best prof I have ever had. I am heartbroken that SU did not hire him full-time. He is so much better than anyone in that dept.

I had Dr. Egan for 215, and I fought tooth and nail to get him again for 216. He is a great teacher. His classes are really straight forward. All his questions come from his website. Study that, pay attention in class and you'll do fine. If you ever need help, he is more than happy to lend you his time. By far, one of the best Biology prof. at SU

Dr. Egan was an amazing teacher. I learned so much in lab, and earned an A in the class overall. You need to know the material, the tests are all fill in the blank, no word bank. But class in clear and informative as well as interesting and entertaining. I definatly recommend this class to anyone who needs to take Anatomy and Phisiology I lab.

WOW!!! okay our class average on the last test was a 97, gives at least 10 points extra credit on every test. he made our row go last in the one-on-one section and timed us to see who could get done the fastest, and just to be nice gave us all an extra 2 points on the exam. this guy is really funny and great class, take him if you can!!!

Egan is a very very excellent teacher. He is very specific. If you fail, I must say it is a fault of your own. He goes over the material vivdly and gives practice exams which eliminates some of my out of class stuudy time. No need for tutors or office hours. Pay attention, memorize, recite and I guarantee you will pass.

one word "AMAZING"!!! he's very funny, and easy to talk to. He lets u know exactly whats gonna b on the lab exams. its a lot of memorizing, but sometimes he comes up w/ stories, to help u remember the parts of the body. As long as u study, u can deff. get an "A" in the lab

egan is the best teacher ever! he's sooo funny and extremely helpful. he keeps you entertained.. even in an 8 am, 2 and a half hour long lab. you have to know the material but he will cut you some slack. take him if you have the chance, he is awesome.

OMG! I loved this professor! Everything on the tests is in your lab manual. If it's not listed there, than don't study it. His lectures are great, very hands on; we looked at fetal pigs on the first day. He is hilarios!

Really good prof. Tells you exactly what he wants for all lab reports and exams. He couldn't put it any more straightforward. Not an easy class, but if you try you will get a good grade. Plus he's absolutely hilarious and loves being a science nerd. Really easy to talk to also, definately wants you to understand the material and will help.
