Comment:
Had freshman seminar with him and will NEVER take a course with him again. He avoids articulating expectations like the plague, then grades work with a set of criteria unknown to anyone in the class. He taught my freshman year seminar, which was an easy A, but God help anyone who actually needs to learn something from him.

He is one professor who doesn't really care about students. He thinks about himself as a scientist but hardly have the capabilities of a one. He discusses something else and puts totally different stuff on exams. If you struggle in class then he is going to give you more hard time. He conducts review before exams which have no significance.

Professor wrote all the exams on lined paper and then photocopied and distributed them. He is blind and does not write clearly on the board.Took this as a freshman at 8am mwf. Do not do that. In my opinion, dont take this class to satisfy your math requirement unless "mathy"! Stats is the way to go!

This man is a clown. He thinks way too much of himself and believes math is some sort of religious calling. He is the worst of a Triad of instructors in the Trinity math Department that include "Field Marshall" Dave (Von) Robbins and David (Borel Field) Mauro. I earned A's in all of their classes without ever seeing anything of substance from them

I got my first (and last) ever A+ when I took this course and I did nothing more than attend class. If you are good at Math take this and it will be a breeze, it is like a lead in to STAT 101. If you are stupid, and you found this course hard then... you are dumb

Not very clear teacher. Final exam covered almost nothing we discussed and was much more difficult than any quizzes or in class examples. He's almost completely blind, which gives a bit of comedic value to help you stay awake in class. I've had worse but I'd try to avoid him.

Wow. Really nice, but his shoes are always untied, indicative of his teaching style. No textbook. No syllabus. Handwritten, photocopied handouts. Tests took up to 3X the allotted class time (I heard him tell a student to be late to her next class). Exams many, many times more difficult than the lectures and classwork would indicate. Avoid.

Very easy class. Classes are not mandatory and not very useful either. Not much book use except to catch up on your own. Boring and hard to pay attention in class

Terrible professor, he is so boring, and not clear at all. He gives assignments but you can't read his writing, and when you finally do and it's time for the test, the test is much harder than the assignment. He adds random things on the tests that we have never before seen.

John Georges is extremely frustrating. He doesn't answer questions well and writes way too much excess information on the board. His tests include information that we have never been over-as seen by the average of 50 on each exam!

you don't have to go to class, but I did and the homework/problems in class are too easy for the one's on the test...the first test we had almost the whole class failed after that all tests were taken outside of class for 3 hours...it was stressful

Although he can be boring sometimes, he is a very smart, witty professor who makes it easy to learn the material that he is teaching.
