One of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures make you interested in the material and puts the events that happened into context with the rest of the world at the same time. His tests can be rather daunting but if you do the reading and study they are not unreasonable.

This class is bloody great. If you love british history, this is the guy to take it from. He knows his stuff and you can tell he loves his subject dearly. Knows how to make the class fun and light - no boring droning in his lectures. The exams are cake - if you do the reading you'll do fine, mandatory attending of class - but you won't want to miss!

He is a very interesting lecturer. He tells you what parts of each chapter to read. No written papers. Just tests. All tests are MC and not comprehensive. He is very nice and very funny.

Excellent lecturer. He explains the subjects very clearly. By far one of the best teachers at FSU. However, his tests are a bit daunting (100 & 200 MC questions). If you show up every day you will at least get B.

Has a great ability to explain the issues and emotions underlying the causes of what we did in our history. His tests are a little challenging, but otherwise, his lectures are very good.
