If you're a PSY majorminor, then great- take this class, it will help you down the road. - But if you aren't, & are just taking this for an elective, then try to get another prof. - Levine is great, available for office hours, but she expects alot from u. - 3 papers that build upon each other & the exams require alot of studying & written portions

Dr. Levine is a great professor. I really understood the material and got an A in her class. Her notes are abbreviated from the book so you need to read and study if you want to pass her exams. There's a lot of group discussion and she grades fairly.

Such a wonderful lady, and honestly one of the best professors I've ever had. She really knows the subject matter and is very clear in her lectures. Four exams, three papers, but the work load is very much doable. I'm really going to miss having class with Dr. Levine. Take her if you can!

Not a bad class. However, if u aren't a psy major then this might not be the right choice for you. She expects a lot out of you for a gen ed course. 4 exams & 3 continuous papers. Exams have essays with them. So yeah (in Forrest Gump's voice) = Well that's all I got to say bout that.

Not a bad class or a bad teacher but would not reccommend if you are not a psych major. She expects too much if you are not pursuing psych. She has a passion for it that you will not have if you are taking as a general ed.

Very nice professor, would have done better if I bought the textbook but I got a C+ without ever looking in the textbook and barely reviewing material at all. Material was however interesting and guest speakers were cool as well.

Maybe one of the best professors. Class is more discussion than lecture. Teaches with power points and uses real life examples to clarify. Several in class speakers who were good. If you take good notes, pay attention, and study it will be easy. 3 tests, a final, and 3 papers. Decent workload but not hard. Definitely recommend :)

Wants to see her students do well. Always offers multiple extra credit assignments that can be added to exams. Always responds to her emails quickly and very helpful! Also helps that she puts her slideshows online so you can print them out instead of writing them down in class.

Aweful! For non PSYCH majors this is a bad choice. She gives a lot of assignements and extra credit. 3 papers and 3 exams. She will drive you nuts if u not in that stuff. Many times she just doesn't know the material, she goes by memory. Not an interesting class, not understanding teacher, you won't learn nothing from her tests. dont tke her 4gened

I took several courses with her and she is THE BEST TEACHER! She cares about her subject of study and she'll have you writing several papers (short) and has 4 exams. Attendance and part. are part of your grade. Overall I usually get an A- in the classes I take with her. She's very relatable and helpful. Take her for your classes for psych.

Great Professor & Class! She is very straight forward with everything. Very helpful. The exams are 40 multiple choice and one essay; study guides are given in advance. She does fun activities and lectures. Make sure you reread your papers because she is a tad picky on grammar. Excellent class!

Dr. Levine is my favorite professor at ccsu and I'm not a psych major. She tells you exactly what is expected, gives great study guides and is always open to helping. 4 tests 3 papers if you do the work it's a very simple easy straightforward class! Take her :)

Good teacher overall and fairly simple to understand. My only criticism is that she is a bit of a know-it-all since she is a psychologist she believes she knows u personally. I missed on my 1st exam and came 2 mins late for the 2nd one and she goes on telling me ''she is extremely concerned'' and I took issue with that. Other than that she's ok.

The absolute best teacher I have ever had! she is extremely interesting and helpful. Her lectures are interesting and are done from power point which I found very helpful. She gives study guides which are exactly what you will find on the exam. 3 papers 3 tests. AMAZING teacher AMAZING class. Take her as soon as possible. You wont regret it!!!
