His delivery of the material can be extremely dry. However, he does know his stuff and he does have a good heart. If you show up, do your work, and just act decent it won't be too bad. Just come with coffee cause it can feel long.

I took MCOM 387 with him and he was really big on restricting creative freedom within the class. He gave us news segment projects and a news show project for the final and the show was supposed to be controlled by us, but he ended up making it pretty much exactly what he wanted. He's also very boring and has distracting mannerisms.

Lombardi is a great professor! Sometimes his lectures get a bit repetitive/long, but overall they're always interesting. He's very knowledgeable and always willing to help you. I had a lot of laughs in his class. Definitely worth taking!

Have had several classes with Dr. Lombardi and have enjoyed them all - some more than others, but that's more a reflection of the subject matter than him or his teaching style. Helpful, easy to talk to, clear with expectations, and a generally nice person. If you don't like him or you aren't doing well, you probably aren't trying very hard.

Excellent teacher. Great man. I hate that people are saying that he is unclear about assignments and such because he is really good about communicating with his students- he always asks for questions and is really quick about emailing students back. He can get boring at times true, but all the information is important. Overall, just a very nice man

Great teacher. sometimes boring. PLEASE know the material before the exams. if you pay attention in class and print out the notes outlines the class will be easy. Also there are a lot of paper to write but they aren't hard. Just pay attention and do the work and you will pass. there is also extra credit and he adds points to the exam.

Lombardi is a good teacher to have. Although his classes might be boring, you get to learn a lot about the MCOM field. If you turn in all your papers (current events) you will do fine. I turned in all of mine and got A's on them but failed all the tests and I ended up with a B.
