The grading for this class is very hard. She is not willing to work with you when you do turn in papers. and do not expect her to explain why she has failed you on assignments. You will just be wasting your time. IF possible do not take this class.

The thing with all of these bad reviews, is that the students don't seem to be reading everything she says. I didn't struggle because I made sure to read and reread what she said. She is not an awful teacher, students just don't seem to care enough.

Honestly, this class seemed pretty easy. You have 10 online, open book quizzes. The final is online and open book too. The tough part will be the 4 papers. She is very strict with her A.P.A. formatting and grammar requirements. So, as she strongly suggests, make sure to reach out to the writing center for a second set of eyes. Overall, so-so.

I sent an email attached with a draft of my final paper and asked for feedback. she graded my draft and proceeded to tell me my follow up email was "entertaining" because I tried to explain it was my draft and I clearly stated it was my draft copy about 50 times and she still did not accept my final submission...

THE WORST TEACHER IN HISTORY! Her expectations are ridiculous,she gives you 0 help even when asked for and most notably VERY RUDE! The college made a huge mistake by hiring her. I will never take a class with her ever again. I wanted to punch babies in the face after I got all my assignments back.

By far the worse teacher I have taken in my whole 23 years of living. She is not helpful at all, she is extremely rude, and her writing styles are so dumb, it's ridiculous. Don't take her if someone else teaches a class unless she the only professor that teaches it. Simply horrible. Made me think about switching my major; that's how bad she is.

Horrible, horrible teacher. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. I took her online class, it was a huge mistake. She is very confusing in her instruction,and is a very harsh grader. She does not grade you on your content, only insignificant grammar errors. She needs to find a different profession, teaching is not for her.

I'm a senior and this is by far the worst teacher I've had at Frostburg. If you can avoid taking her, do it. She grades on grammar and doesn't even take content into consideration. She will give you an automatic D if you're missing a comma. She needs fired. Absolutely worst teacher at Frostburg.

Worst teacher ever. Grades papers like you are trying to get your Masters Degree even though its a 100 level class. Asked how I can improve my writing, she said "I don't know, your writing is terrible." Horrible teacher, not helpful, mad at her life and takes it out on students. Take McAlexander or Lombardi they are 10000 times better.

DO NOT TAKE HER. I took this class just for credit and it was THE BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. As an Education major and I was not only disrespected that she in my field, but personally I was insulted. She said that I should not graduate because my writing skills are "a disgrace." I will be graduating in the top 3% and have a 3.8 GPA. She needs to retire.

I really liked her, she was helpful to those wanted to learn but some of the students simply didn't want to do the work to learn. She could be a little obscure in her humor but, again, if you were paying attention you'd get the humor, she's not a "joketeller" but can be very witty. Maybe she aims her classes at more mature students.

Incredible waste of my time and money. Rambles and gets off topic and rarely makes it back. Grades seem to be decided almost at random. Is a Nazi about grammar in written work but then doesn't proof read her handouts, etc. Totally incapable of keeping control of a class discussion. I will change my major or transfer if I have to take her again.

This woman just needs to retire. If you can only hold class once a week because it is too stressful, don't be a teacher. Walked into class 30seconds late and turned in a paper the day it was due, MINUS 50 FOR WALKING IN A FEW SECONDS LATE. Worst of all, she was late the day she handed them back. Would never recommend. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!
