Comment:

Dr. Anderson's class was an easy A. He gives you everything you need to know for the quizzes, and his stories in lecture are entertaining! He takes attendance, so don't skip. If you do, you miss the notes you'll need for the exam. The end of the semester is a lot of group so be prepared to work in teams. Would recommend this class for an easy A.

Comment:

Class was boring sometimes, but Anderson is a good professor overall. We never used the textbook and had 6 easy quizzes throughout the semester, 2 of which were on plays we had to see. We had a few group projects, one was the final project. Overall easy A.

Pretty easy class! I would highly recommend him. He knows his stuff but doesn't expect that you know a ton coming in. He knows not all are theater majors and takes that into account. You need to attend 2 productions. There are weekly quizzes straight from the lectures. 1 midterm. The final project is the most time consuming but it is not too bad.

Joe is hilarious and realistic. Textbook is never used - which means all material comes directly from lecture, making it pretty much mandatory for you to be there. His quizzes are mostly easy, BUT BEWARE: he asks some questions that are extremely lecture-specific! Make sure you listen to him at all times, it may get you some points!

Take theater apprec with Joe Anderson! He is a really great teacher. One midterm test which is really easy, and one final project that is worked on in class at the end of the semester! You have about six quizzes which are based off the notes but they are really easy! Take this class with Joe for an easy A! :) Lots of fun too!

Great teacher. Very entertaining, I laughed everyday in class. Attendance is mandatory but if you pay attention and spend 30 mins reviewing before the weekly quiz you will be fine. 6 quizes 1 mindterm final project.

Class is very easy with quizzes and exams come directly from the note!Final project is not hard at all!Attendance is mandatory but it's worth coming as Joe has a great sense of humor! Moreover, you could know a lot of new, interesting stuff from his lecture! Definitely recommend!

Easy class. Quizzes and the few short exams aren't bad at all if you look over your notes briefly and go to class. Does take attendance, but class is entertaining to sit through. Final project is not bad at all, and you aren't required to do any acting which was nice. Definitely recommend!

Joe=Great! I really enjoyed class, his stories were always entertaining. The final project was the hardest part of the class. Tests and quizzes are super easy. Write down what he says, glance at your notes, and you're good to go!

Joe is hilarious, very passionate about what he does and tells lots of stories about his experiences, coming in i had no interest in this class but he made it worth coming everyday. Definitely bounce ideas off of him for your the final project he is quite helpful if you are just a little creative and use his knowlegde.

Joe makes theatre semi-interesting for the average student taking the course for a gen ed credit. I had my doubts going in but the quizzes are on the notes and the mid-term was on the notes and fairly easy. The only real work is the end of the year project, which isn't terrible. No acting required for the course. Definitely a plus. Recommended.
