I never had Dr. Costello, however... she helped me with all the science classes I took! Whenever she was in the lab, she would help me. A genuine, intelligent, generous woman willing to spend time explaining material to anyone willing to learn. She rocks!!!

You're not going to find a nicer, more competent professor--ever. Dr. C. treats everybody the same, doesn't make you feel bad for asking a stupid question, and she returns tests promptly. There's a bit of work, but not too much. Just keep ahead of her and do the work, you'll get an A -- I did.

OMG! I found her lectures to be scattered, her notes fragmented. This class is jam packed with info to begin with and her method of teaching just made it all the more difficult for me. I typically maintain an A average, I'm getting a C in her class. You have to study LOTS!

Class is a nightmare. Gives only a list of terms rather than a good course outline. This makes it hard to find things in a timely manner in lab. Lab tests are detailed and she is extremely rough on spelling. Keeps office hours.

She is so hard!!!! She explains things in a way as if you already know. Expected to do a lot on your own and tests are a nightmare. 10 chapters at once. If you don't study every single night for hours you will fail. Way too much material to be covered.

Great lab teacher if you have nowhere to go. Labs tend to run till the last minute. She explains everything really thouroughly and makes it easy to understand. Quizzes aren't hard, if you study. She's really friendly and her personality is unique.
