Comment:
Professor Roper is very enthusiastic about teaching history. Let me tell you though, she knows her stuff! Literally any history topic; she knows about it. She's quirky, and a bit goofy, but overall a really great professor. She makes the information interesting. You get five papers, and you only have the midterm and a non-cumulative final. :)

Roper was too over the top and I couldn't even take her seriously. It's definitely good to be enthusiastic about what you're teaching, but everything has its limits. Not a teacher I could relate to at all. Also the style of dress is about 20 years too late. Instead of being so crazy and making the class hard why not be approachable and moderate?

Take all the notes. Bring a lap top cause your hand will fall off and you will probably miss lots of notes. Write all the papers she assigns (even extra credit ones). Study hard for tests cause she picks very random things out.

Best teacher I had at Riv--inspired me to want to teach history. Enthusiastic, energetic, interesting. A lot of dead weight in the class, though--true idiots, detracted from class a bit. And you'd have to be pretty *#@* stupid to think she's a man!

I agree with first post... butch all the way. Knows stuff, though grading a little odd, and needs a total makeover, I thought she was a man.
