Great person and teacher. She really knows the material and teaches the class in a way that might actually apply to your job someday. She is kind of confusing when she first explains new concepts, but doing the homework (which she goes over every class) really helps. Make sure you come to classes, otherwise you'll be lost on the material. Good prof

While it is possible to get a good grade from Dr. Shotick, she is one of the most frustrating professors! She is very meticulous and detail oriented; it's either her way or the highway. Stick to her methods and do all the homework for a decent grade.

Dr. Shotick is a GREAT professor...I've never taken one of her business classes but i might now. Everyone else talked about how stupid their EHS class was but mine was always fun! Notice to all freshman, when you take EHS 120 (University Experience) take Joyce Shotick!

Dr. Shotick is really cool. Before class she will actually sit down and have real conversations with her students. She's very personable, she jokes around, will answer ANY questions that you have, and she's totally honest. She grades fairly easy too. I would highly recommend her.

A++ Professor! She really cares about the students and it is apparent that she loves her job. It is NOT her way or the highway as another student stated. If you can derive the right answer with proper explanations it is fine. Definitely take her!

I really hated the fact that she uses a technique called DO IT MY WAY OR DIE. She's nice and everything, but math is straight forward and it does not allow any preferences. You better take class with her you are not good in math, but be extra careful if you are going for an "A" or you're screwed :/

Coming into this class I was worried about passing it. With Dr. Shotick's help I am shooting for an 'A'. She's excited about the subject even though it's the most boring one I know of, but it keeps you going through this 3 hour night class. Take her, she's so much better an any of the alternatives.

Best teacher for this class! This lady is amazingly dedicated to her students and will make sure that you understand everything. She's very upbeat and perky so it's impossible to not pay attention in class. QM is a hard topic, but with the way she teaches it makes it tons easier.

This teacher is way too perky and happy every single damn day. I had her for a 9 am class and I wanted to strangle her somedays for being so perky. Other then that her class was easy and she was super nice. She does favor suck ups though.
