Dr. Pandey is hands down the best teacher I've ever had. She is so inspiring and well-educated that I never once minded coming to a class that was 3 hours long and until 10pm at night because she is amazing to listen to. If you have the chance, take her for everything you can. You will learn so much. But don't expect to skate by. Work hard.

Dr. Pandey is the finest teacher I've ever had, and I'm nearing the end of my second Master's degree, so I've got lots of comparison! Her passion for the subject, her professional rhetoric, her practicing what she preaches about education, and her enthusiasm make her a gem in the department.

"Easy" class but stressful in that it seemed like all the grades were at the end of the course and I didn't do too well on the homeworks. But in the end, it works out and she's super helpful, funny, and enthusiastic

Dr. Pandey ia a very caring teacher. If you expressed a sincere desire to succeed in her class and put a moderate amount of thought into assignments, there should be no problem in achieving an A. She also made the time (at least 5-6 out of class meetings) to help me ossify my final paper. She is very relaxed too.

I took Principles of Linguistics and Second Language Acquistion. Quite a lot of the classes are presentations and one or two papers. No tests, nothing really difficult to do. I really enjoyed her classes and having her for a teacher.

You'd think a college class about grammar would be pretty bad, but Dr. Pandey made grammar fun. Not many people can pull that off. Plus she creates a very pleasant classroom environment, and is always there to guide you and answer questions about the material.
