Loved Hayn. I've been teaching for a while (took me 9 yrs to finish my MEd) and she totally took my teaching experience into account. She respected all students, kept things moving and relevant, gave concrete teaching ideas, and generally rocked. She's a charmer and you'll love her.

Dr. Hayn's classes were the most practical and useful to me. I am now a teacher and I owe her a great deal (-yes, you CAN pick out the cheerleaders). I was in the first group to take her class in Rome and it was unbelievable. We had a lot of fun learning together.

Love Dr. hayn. it is impossible to fail her class. She is very opinionated on teaching adol. lit to high school students. Hates the trad. canon. Her class is always an exciting and comfortable environment. Sometimes doesn't feel like a class, it's more like a break from your hectic week.

well im an english major who thinks ill someday teach the classics in highschool. despite dr hayns WAY clear opinion that thats impossible, i still totally loved her class. sometimes hard 2 figure out the class structure, due dates, etc, but she's very accessible and helpful. So funny and sweet! Made a 2.5hr class fly by - a nearly impossible feat.
