Knows what hes talking about but makes it very boring. Just stands in front and talks for the whole lecture, no powerpoints at all. His tests can be confusing if you don't take good notes. Interesting class though, but just very dull n dry. Will probably put you to sleep. Also assigns a ten page paper. Three tests and the paper determine your grade

Has a dry sense of humor that I find hilarious. If you listen to his lectures there are so many comedic gems in there. Brilliant guy, made me so interested. Follow directions and it's easy. Impossible to fail tests. Take good notes, watch clips, and do the readings. Great curve. Best prof I've ever had, just use common sense.

LOVE this professor! He is hilarious and is very easy to learn from. His exams are based on the notes and are easy to get an A on if you study. I never got bored with this professor because he was always doing random, funny things during lecture. I learned a lot from his class and will be taking more with him! A+++++!!

knows his stuff. loves south park. hes not very nice inside the classroom. has no hesitation towards emabarassing you which makes it hard to participate in class. go to class! good lectures and the tests are on the notes...and south park. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE PAPER IN MLA FORMAT OR U WILL GET AN AUTOMATIC D(happened to 15 people in my class...shot)

a bit of a superiority complex, and it shows on his tests, he does not expect you to do well on his tests, but wants to wax his knowledge of the material in your face, he has a heavy curve on all his exams, and is incredibly interesting to listen to, he never looks up and doesnt give the opportunity to take questions during lectures.

LOVED his lectures... HATED his tests. It never got old listening to his words of wisdom, but they translate into exams with heavy weight, which the answers are only determined by HIS interpretation. No doubt a challenging professor, nonetheless, there should be less weight on his exams.

Definitely was NOT excited about taking a class called "American Public Address" but it is turning out to be my favorite. He a GREAT LECTURER and teaches history as a story. He is so eager to help out students that take the time to meet with him and his humor is great- especially when many professors take themselves too seriously.

He's quirky..... He has lots of little jokes, but you have to be up on your pop culture to get it. His tests are a little more difficult if multiple choice isn't your thing. He does let you ask any questions you want before the tests.

Dr. Gustainis is an awesome teacher. A bit unconventional, but that's OK. The people who give him negative comments are possibly the rude ones who talked endlessly through his class on their cellphones (when they actually dis show up). He's a fair grader, and is always willing to help his students out.
