If you are MechE, you will have no choice but to take his lab. The worst part is he makes you buy a textbook he himself wrote, which kinda angers me. He was disrespectful most of the time, never made class fun, and always brushed people off when they had questions. You better know how to use a bread board before coming to class.

Never met a professor who cared less about students. He is condescending, not understanding at all, disrespectful and mean to students. Is out to get students who are not even in the ECE department. Very degrading and should not be allowed to teach.

LabView knowledge isn't a listed prerequisite for ECE083 but we still used it. Prof Norian didn't teach it at all so I (ME major) was kind of lost with that. Verbally explains every experiment with no paper record of what to do which is annoying. Doesn't teach circuit theory and book is a little confusing. 1 week to write lab. TA was great though.

Prof. Norian was one of the nicest professors I've had and his circuits lab course was really good! He and the TA made a great effort to help me learn the material and make the labs fun. If you read his book the course is an easy A. Labs are short and last at most half an hour so we always ended early.

I took Prof. Norian years ago. [ece81 in 2002]. Looking back on my years at Lehigh, I have to say that Prof. Norian was my fave teacher. He's an interesting person but an EXCELLENT teacher. Does a great job of teaching the fundamentals.

This guy is the worst teacher I have had at Lehigh, hands down. He doesn't care about whether you learn anything in this course and does care if you show up. The tests are not based on the material and are 1 question problems. Everyone I know that has norian for ECE81 learned nothing as well. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER FOR ANY ECE COURSE!!!!

Dr. Norian's way of teaching was great. He gave the subject to us in class and we then did modeling on the computer. I learnt a lot in both medical electronics and in signal processing. He cares that the students learn and get good grades.He is very enthusiastic about what he teaches. He is an excellent professor.

I took him for Medical Electronics, got so bored I stopped going to class, didn't do any work until it was way overdue, and ended up with a B+. I learned absolutely nothing, and may actually have gotten dumber from this course. My motivation suffered as well. However! I did get a B+.

An excellent class, educational, enjoyable and stimulating. One of the classes we actually look forward to. Norian is really good. He made everything very clear. The independent research really helped me to learn the material as well as to enhance my research and presentation skills.
