Get ready to teach yourself the majority of the material. Graham goes through the lessons ridiculously fast and dumps homework for current material and future material that's due by next class period. She is very intelligent but if you don't understand something, she doesn't care.

I really like Dr. Graham and she was super knowledgable (she wrote the textbook) and helpful. She does move really fast and the class overall is hard, but I actually really enjoyed having her.

Dr Graham gets very frustrated if you don't understand the way she explains things. She gives F's on pretty much every PSA and doesn't really care if you learn the material or not. She teaches before every class which is nice but can only explain things in her one way which makes it difficult for some people to understand.

One of my favorite Profs at CSBSJU. She teaches it like it is and is really good at answering questions clearly. I had her for 3 of my 4 chemistry courses, and I wish I could have had her for my other one. 10/10 recommend.

If you show you care about the material, she will care that you get through it well. If you don't care, she'll still push you, but in a very direct manner you may not like.

Loved CHEM125 with Dr. Graham! She actually teaches, and is always willing to explain or help you out. Her laugh is definitely the best part about her, you can hear her cackling down the hall

Dr. Graham is the reason I became a Chemistry major. She is very passionate about the subject and helped write the textbook/workbook you use, so she knows what is going on. She is very helpful and approachable. Material is hard, but that's because Chemistry is hard--not her problem.

Dr. Graham knows the program through and through and the flipped classroom was a little frustrating, but the professor and class tutor were good at answering questions. Material can be exceedingly confusing at times, or make perfect sense. During the confusing times, schedule to meet with her and she will help incredibly

Graham is the best prof I've had at csbsju so far. She's tough, but genuinely a great prof. She helps students learn ochem better than I can imagine anyone else can. I recommend her to everyone!

Graham, though not the best teacher, is better than the other teachers in the chem department. She has a habit of making you feel a little stupid for asking questions but really, the class itself makes you feel that way. Chemistry at CSB/SJU is NOT easy or anything like high school or other colleges; come ready for a challenge.

Graham is helpful if you are willing to see her outside of class. In class though you hardly learn anything, and you do homework most of the time. There are quizzes everyday and usually the class average is terrible.

I took Graham for 2 semesters. She's not terrible and she is pretty helpful, but the class itself is really difficult. The quizzes are impossible - our class averages were always around 40%.

Had her with Peterson, and they were on an ego trip. Spent almost two lectures drilling why their teaching method is the best. Very tough quizzes. Both are VERY willing to help outside of class if you honestly want to learn. I learned quite a bit about chem between the activities, lecture, and connection to lab.

Knowledgable and willing to help outside of class. However, in lab she consistently sat on facebook and scrabble while our teachers assistant did all of the work.

Tough class, exam averages were super low, which was frustrating. She is really helpful if you go in and ask questions, especially if she knows you work hard. She must do some sort of a curve at end of semester.

First semester she was fine. The group work in our workbooks was very helpful. Second semester was terrible. The class did really poorly on our first quiz, then the class suddenly became impossible. Her tests became too long to finish and her homework assignments and quizes were a lot harder. It was like she was angry with us for that first quiz.

on the bright side, Graham is a very nice person. she is always happy in class and really cool if you have a problem or a question. however, she doesn't really lecture. you learn as a group from the workbook. use your textbook as your bible and study your butt off. good luck

Well, O-Chem isn't easy in general, but I really like Graham's style of teaching. By going through packets in groups it makes you read the material ahead of time and you really understand it in class. Also, she is very helpful if you talk to her during office hours.
