Aubrecht is a horrible professor. She is teaching Chemistry at Stony Brook and is the worst. No curve, she grades on an average scale. I am really disappointed. She is not helpful and cuts no slack. I would suggest if you are from SBU to go to the main campus to take your Chemistry courses so you aren't screwed in the end!! DON'T TAKE HER!

Aubrecht was not a very good teacher in class. She went extremely fast and never explained anything very well. I had to teach myself a lot in order to keep up with her. She was very helpful in office hours, though. Her tests and problem sets are very difficult as well. I liked the class material, but as a teacher she was not my favorite.

Prof. Aubrecht is an amazing professor. She is one of the most dedicated I have had at Holy Cross. She does move very fast, but she is extremely helpful if you ever have a question. She is brilliant, I have seen other organic chemistry professors come up to her with there questions! Take Prof. Aubrecht's class, she is very personable.

Ignore the other comments, Aubrecht is an awesome teacher. She may write fast but her notes are always clear and she is awesome in office hours. Her tests are hard but she scales massively. Plus I never opened my text book and did fine in the class. Aubrect is amazing, take her!

She moves through several boards of notes per class. She goes through the material very fast. To do well in this class, you have to constantly be reading the text book. Her tests can be devastating, but she does give a nice curve. Nice person, though office hours are when you learn the most.
