Learned a lot in her Senior Seminar class. One of the rare classes (I had maybe 2 total that I would make this claim about) that I felt actually helped me improve as a person and an Economist. I think Dr. Wilson was a big part of that.

Dr. Wilson is a wonderful professor and a cool lady. She's so intelligent but still able to convey principle level concepts clearly and thoroughly. I really enjoyed her course and got a lot out of it; I would highly recommend taking for any level class though!

Dr Wilson is a fabulous professor. She makes not so interesting material, fun to learn and sparks vast interest. Truly cares about students and what you learn from the class. Gives you the possible essays early with several others, and randomly chooses a few on the exam. There are never surprises. Will do anything to help you. Best prof ever

Have her this semester and she is wonderful. Cares more what you take away from the class, then overcomplicating exams. Tells you everything you need to know, and you'll come out learning a lot. She is wonderful.

She is amazing! I learned so much from her class, and got a good grade to boot! Tells you what you need to know for exams, and it redirects you to actually learning the material. Wish all prof's were like her. Going to take Economics of Hlth with her this Spring! 300 characters isnt enough to express how wonderful she is.

I had Kathy for Economics of Health Care. I only took the course to learn about health care and had no prior knowledge. The lectures were entertaining and she is such a sweet woman. I think there were 3 exams, she provides the possibly essay questions and then selects 5 for the exam. Super nice and was always available for additional help.

I took Dr. W for Public Finance, and all I have to say is, although the class is writing intensive and definitely not an easy A, if every econ professor was as clear, approachable, and helpful as she was, I would be majoring in economics. Overall, if you're willing to work a little and want a genuinely good instructor, I would recommend her class.

Kathryn is really a great professor but the class is SO HARD. She is kind of fast paced but she has a lot of material to work with. I didn't pass due to my own fault. She was there to help no matter what though. Tests were kind of hard with tricky questions with answers that all seem right. If you have to take econ take her!

I have had Kathy for several classes now and she is great. Econ of Poverty tests were slightly challenging because they were 6 essays in only an hour and 15 minutes; however, if you knew the material - you could get an A. She is one of the nicest professors at Kent, and I am very sad she is going on leave.
