Great teacher. There was a lot of reading, but its English, so no more than normal. The reading also changed, from stories, to poems, to dramas, so there was a change of pace to the class. Great job with feedback and helping to try and continue the discussion. If you put the effort in you will be ok.

Would not recommend if you work a lot. Have to usually do three assignments a week. Only have to do three essays throughout the course though which is nice. If you make a mistake on your essays she'll really criticize you for it. If you fall behind she wont even bother to read your essay and just give you an F.

Kathy is such a sweet person! I have her for my liberal arts online class, and have had such bad luck with online professors before, but she is so easy to get in contact with and genuinely cares about her students/materials. I wish I could get her in real life, I bet she'd be wonderful! PS, the class itself is not a breeze! But, she makes it fun.

Spectacular person. The best English teacher Ive ever had. Her lectures focus on discussion on reading you should have done before class and shes VERY engaging. She assigns 3 essays and is incredibly helpful w/ them- take advantage of her advice! I highly recommend her. I attended her Honors ENG102 and left the semester absolutely inspired.

Good teacher. You got to post basically the weekdays. There is a lot of reading throughout the semester. Read, read, read. Gives good feedback and explains why you made the mistakes. Pretty accessible.

The class is geared toward literature and focuses on ample readings of short stories, poems, and plays. The Professor lectures on each of the assigned readings and looks for some feedback. The Professor is very interested in the emotional side of things and progressiveness. Only 3 papers required for the class. Rarely an engaging class.

I took the online class with her. She made it pretty basic. You had an assignment every night. So most of us chose to do two or three weeks at a time, which worked around our schedules. You just had to write two papers for this class. The rest of the time you are reading poetry, short stories or plays and writing about your opinions. Follow the syllabus, put in effort and you will get an A.

Online Course. The work you do is exactly what is stated in syllabus. She is very interactive online which is so great in the online classroom and what many other prof. dont do online!! She grades very appropriately use her feedback and you will do better on next assignment. Stay with the work , put effort its not hard work and it is an EASY A!!

Generally, I liked her. There were a lot of heated debates on short stories and poems in my class, so it was really interesting. She only expects 3 papers; a short story analysis, a poetry analysis, and a research paper. one of your analysis' can be replaced with a creative writing option. For Honors English 102, this class wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. There were no tests and no homework except for reading, so your grade was based on two written papers and a final paper/project. I think this class was pretty easy, but interesting. I would recommend it.
