Professor Zona is your average math teacher, meaning he writes notes on the board and you write them down. He explains the work pretty clearly, although he does mess up every once in awhile it's only simple mistakes like forgetting the minus sign. Besides that he sometimes misinterprets student question and the course is mostly graded by tests.

He repeatedly messes up while lecturing, writing the wrong thing needing to be corrected at least once every class. Bad examples, bad teacher. I excel in math and he ruined it for me within the first week

I had Steve's math classes from the beginning of my Associates until almost the end. He was one of the best math teachers I've come across. Which, as you all know, most people hate taking math. Steve always went out of his way to help everyone. He truly wants you to thrive and understand math. I thoroughly encourage others to take his classes.

alright so this professor was extremely disappointing to me. I normally enjoy math but he made me despise math that semester. The way he taught the class and his extremely sarcastic way of looking at student problems was just unprofessional. His tests were not long but they were terrible to take. There was no test review. Try to avoid him!!

Great teacher! Does board work Monday and Wednesday and we get to do our homework on Friday. All homework is online you can go at your own pace. His lectures are great. Board work is easy to follow. Can be a bit rude at times but only if you aren't respectful. Easy to pass and a good review of high school material

Took his online pre cal. He's rude and what seems like moody and his teaching style is not good. He will give graded assignments on topics he has not covered or hasn't fully covered and expects you to know the stuff. I'm a quick learner and can usually grasp math concepts pretty well but this class was torture.

i didnt understand his teaching sometimes cause they was so much to cover but his videos helped me pass the class. He made me really understand and love math now with those videos. will certainly take him again if i can. Will recommend him for anything with fear of math and wants to overcome those fears. He makes math so much easy to understand.

Great instructor! Gives a midterm which is 50% of your final grade. Final term is only 20%. You better be prepared otherwise, you'll fail. Quickly responds to emails. Offers very helpful videos and plenty of materials to help you through the semester. Would take again.

This class was awful. The course was very unorganized and doesn't prepare you very well for Calculus. Bottom line, it was one of the easiest, most useless classes I've ever taken (easy A). If you are moving on in math, steer clear and find a better teacher!

This was my 1st math class in almost 15 years & I could not have been happier. I felt like the class was basically an online class because most the class is based on using My Math Lab but the videos that Mr. Zona post really helped me understand the material. He gives lots of extra credit and I ended the class with 100.83 out of 100.
