Ken is a great teacher! Like someone else mentioned if your not a hard worker then he won't care for you. If he see's that you keep trying he will constantly push you and help you where he can. Great teacher and all around great guy!

Comment:

Ken is easily one of the worst professors in Humber ID.Ken is so arrogant and in love with himself to realize what he teaches is either irrelevant, or way out of date. He seemed to put no effort into the automotive class and it seemed to be a way for him to feel relevant and important by constantly boasting himself as a former automotive designer.

Ken cummings is badass, whoever says he's arrogant clearly does not know how most if not all industrial designers act. His teaching method works well if you can keep up and if you're a pain in the ass he'll treat you the same way. I miss him as the program coordinator and Patrick Burke who replaced him is just awful. Come back Ken!

he knows what he is talking about,but he has no idea how to teach it. In class he talks about something unimportant for hours,wasting the time he needs to talk about things that he is going to actually mark you on later on.therefor you end-up going home and wonderning what the hell he was talking about, and what does he want you to do as homework?

this prof is without a doubt clueless with regards to what is required to teach students the skills to do a job, all i have to say about this individual is that it is disgusting that a man like him would be put in a position that makes him responsible for the learning of others... disgusting, plain disgusting

This guy is just way too arrogant and has been more interested in making himslef into a pseudo university prof than anything else. I remember his stupid little office and disinterest in the students that didn't knock on his door to pay homage to the mighty prefect. An abyssmal instructor that needs to get over himself.

I think people making other comments about Ken are being unfair. He is incredibly helpful with students and it seems as though he really cares about each students success. It is his job to critisize the design work we produce, maybe people need to learn to take CONSTRUCTIVE criticism better, it is coming from a man with lots of experience.

Ken really couldn't care less about his students. He uses diploma programs as a cash cow to feed his pet degree program. Totally lacking in communication with the student body. BTW, I'm no drop-out, I've held and 80% average going into third year.

Unprofessional. Ken tends to let his personal problems affect his job. He does not inspire independent, creative thinking. To Ken, there is only one right way-HIS way. If you ever challenge him, prepare to be ridiculed by his articulated demeanor.
