Really knows what he is talking about! Engaging and interesting, but sometimes the class can be a bit dull. Kinda wish we did more activities, but very minimal homework. Book is pretty useless, as long as you come to class and listen and take notes you're good. COME TO EVERY CLASS EXCEPT ONE OR TWO. Pay attention and you will succeed.

Professor Nugger is awesome and is funny, easy going. He definitely knows his material especially when it comes to law. I don't know why he is rate as a C. He is a tough grader, but what teacher isn't? If you stay on top of your readings, come to class than its an easy A. So sad to see him leave this semester, hopefully he comes back next year!

He is a good teacher, and I learned a lot in his class. But he is a really tough grader, and his tests are all 2 or 3 essays that you have to write from what you have learned. You cannot have any notes. There is a 12 page paper due. If you want an A, you have to eat, sleep and breathe this class. You will have no time for anything else.

Amazing professor who is passionate about the material, extremely kind and lightens the mood with his style of blue comedy. Receiving a B takes a modest amount of effort and an A is possible if you go to office hours and work to master the material.

Don't consider this class if you are taking it for your upper division GE. Interesting class and all, but too much demand when you should be studying for your major classes. Unless you read the book, which is needed bc he lectures orally. that method might not be helpful to several students. otherwise, take this class. he is a great teacher though.

Nuger is a good professor. He's very knowledgeable and sarcastic. His lectures are fairly entertaining, but grade is based only on midterm, essay, and final. Not much room for development other than that. I would take him again.

Probably one of the most influential instructors of my undergraduate career. Professor Nuger's passion for the subject and, most importantly, teaching compelled me to take my education seriously and complete a graduate degree. I'll never forget his generosity and unyielding efforts to assist with what was sometimes very difficult subject matter.

This class was painful. Nice guy, but couldn't keep my interest. I'm not a Poly Sci major, so maybe it was just me, but I'm so glad it's over; every class felt like it was three hours long. If you're thinking of taking 120 just as a GE and you're not a Poly Sci major or minor, find another class.

Nuger is one of the best! He cares about your grade if you care about going to class. Attendance is pretty mandatory and he gives extra credit for those who show up everyday. Midterm and Final are both five-part essays but as long as you study the sections you should be alright. I ended up getting an A.

Ken Nuger is one of the most enthusiastic and passionate teachers I've ever had. I took his awakening in utopia class for my freshman muse seminar, and it was a great class. There is a bit more work than the average muse class but I learned a lot from it. he even baked us treats every now and then. definitely take this if you can as a freshman!

A truly amazing professor. I would recommend him mainly for political science majors looking to learn a lot. He gives you all of the materials to do well (including study guides), so you have to study your ass off but it is well worth it. Take him!! He is also hilarious!!!

Nuger is amazing. The class was not super interesting but he made sure to incorporate discussion so it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed his class, and he is absolutely hilarious. The class takes some work but is not too difficult. He is a fair grader and an all around nice person. He learns everyones names, which is always nice. Awesome.

SO boring! couldn't stay awake in class, dreaded going. Gives 4 papers, and a midterm and final both in essay format. grades hard! lots of intricate, complex material. Worked my butt off for an A and couldn't pull it off. I do not recommend him.

Professor Nuger is a GREAT teacher. He's very helpful in and out of class. I knew nothing about public administration and I left with a good portion of what he taught. I would definitely recommend him. Also visit him during office hours if you need help, he will clearly answer your questions.

Had him for senior seminar. Tons of reading but it wasn't insanely difficult. Writing assignments were graded generously. Make sure to participate, show up to class, and put in effort. No final or midterms for this class. He's a funny guy and will always help you out. Sometimes gives food to class. It was a good capstone to my final semester here.

Ok, so I'm a business major doing a minor in Legal Studies and was quite scared when he stated this class was very difficult. However, I did not find this class difficult at all. His lectures were very helpful, but reading the text is a must (as you need to have case studies prepared)- and those really help for exams! Trust him! He is awesome!
