Dr. Paul is one of the most straightforward and helpful professors I have had at Elon. He always tells you exactly what he wants, and never throws you any curve balls. His tests and assignments are easy to understand and I would definitely recommend him.

sounds like tony the tiger when talks- has a lot of industry experience from the 80's so not as relative today but very informative and interesting- definitely a lot of work but overall very good- be careful not to mess around in class as he will call you out and get you pissed off-

Def avoid him for global..we wrote over 30 papers & had up to 7 papers due each week! the papers arent hard but u have to read a ton & write a paper sometimes in 2 days time. i felt like every class was a waste of time. Learned a little bit but not much..def too much time/effort put into this class

I do not recommend this teacher to anyone. He mocks people infront of his class and then proceeds to correct u on everything and add a story with it and then 2 days after he yells and corrects u, u find out u were right in the 1st place. He is the worst global teacher & assigns billions of papers

Okay, so after reading the other posts, you probably shouldn't take him for Global. However, for marketing he isn't that bad. He likes to use student discussion to teach the class, so you have to be prepared. This can cause some problems for some people.

I'm sure he was great in the business world, but he is a horrible teacher. He gives last minute assignments that call for lots of research and he takes like a month to grade papers so you have no idea what you need to correct until its too late.
