Dr. Schweller is an amazing professor. The thing that makes him truly great is that he doesn't let his brilliance affect his ego. He is very down to earth and friendly. It allows you to learn a lot from him. He does not push you much. However, if you have the drive to learn more he gives you every opportunity to do so in and out of class

The whole reason I switched my major to Computer Science was because of Dr. Schweller his class made sense to me, and made it fun to learn. I usually have a hard time learning new computer languages, but his class made it easier.

He is a very creative professor who keeps you involved. He uses real world examples that helps a lot. We have small classes so we all keep up and help each other. He is eager to help and is always kind, never makes you feel stupid! Great explanations.

Schweller is the best! He is one of the smartest people I know, but can relate to anyone. I am amazed at how intelligent he is, yet how caring and eager to help he is. He makes programming very fun - Everything we coded in his classes were computer games!
