For Elem ED Majors, this class is required. she will drive you crazy. She doesnt answer emails, she doesnt grade your work for months, she uses out of print books, etc. I strongly recommend you try to get someone else if you can. This class will make you suffer.

Had her eng102 fall 2017. She couldnt keep thoughts organized or papers. Never graded anything until 2 weeks before finals. directions were usually very unclear or nonexistent. Very kind and friendly, but oh so scatterbrained.

She is a tough teacher, but she will make sure you know how to put together a well thought out paper. I took her as a sophomore and a teacher has never been so tough on me. However I have gained so much from taking her class. Nothing comes easy for sure you have to work for your grade.

Assignments are not opened on time, reducing the students time to complete. Assigns very old books for the course that are unable to be found unless ordered at the start of the semester or you must find the time to go to the library at WVSU where only some are available. Very flaky overall. Do not recommend!!!

I advise you to take this course ONLINE over the summer. It's much easier from what I have heard from everybody. She was very kind to me. I asked her several questions and always had an answer.

OMG STop now! Change your schedule. As an adult learner I can say this teacher is the worst. Last semester of school and by far the worst teacher ever, including my algebra teacher. She grades discussions and then takes points off because she didn't agree with your opinion, maybe she should tell us what our opinions should be before we post.

Taking her this semester for 2 classes just reinforced my dislike for her. She had emailed the class stating that she would be assigning discussion questions on a book. She was supposed to post the questions Monday evening because they were due Tuesday at 10PM. She didn't post the questions until 7PM on Tuesday, and they were still due at 10.

She is very unclear about what she's asking you to do, gives very little points for lots of work, expect too much work in short periods of time and never responds to emails. Avoid this professor at all costs.

I took her for Africana Studies, and had to pay $58 for the class. AVOID THIS WOMAN AT ALL COSTS!!! She is nice, but is soooo scatter brained, never grades work, never responds to email, and goes on random tangents all the time, not good ones. And she expects you to read a whole book in one week....

Taylor-Johnson means well but that is where the good ends. Assignments and expectations are unclear, her feedback can be completely unrelated to an assignment, rarely answers emails (its online class!), doesn't return grades in a timely manner, disorganized, and late to the one class we had at the beginning of the semester. Avoid if possible.

By far the worst professor I have had in my time at WVSU. We received all of our grades a week prior to the final exam, many of the people who were failing did not know until after it was too late to drop the class. I strongly advise not taking any of her classes. She is not helpful, and seems prejudice to a particular group of students.

She is very nice but very unorganized. She emailed us the MORNING of our midterm to give us our study guide!!! All the questions were extremely random. She still hasn't graded some of the papers we turned in our a month ago! Never take her!!!

Online class with few classroom meetings (she was late to them). Rarely answered email or questions posted on WebCT. Would change due dates but tell one person in class instead of announcing it. Posted no grades, gave no feedback on rough draft of final paper. Not worth the stress.

This Professor is late for class, but she always arrives within 10min. She's intelligent and informative in African American History and makes class fun. I learned a lot about my heritage; as will you. However, you will read and write many assignments and get them back, eventually. LOL! Brilliant Professor, this course is absolutely fascinating.

YAL I thought it was going to be fun..NOT! This is an Education Requierment Corse so be warned b/c you have to do edu centered work which was hard b/c I had only had two edu classes. 50/50 Class. Never on time even the first day. Class was pointless. We would meet and all she would do was read a few chapters of the book we were on then dismiss us.

Completely useless and confusing. She was never clear about assignments, and they were never returned on time. I don't think she ever showed up on time to class, and this includes the first day. Asked far too much and explained far too little.

Does not return assignments in a timely manner. The day of our final she still didn't have some of our assignments graded. She does force you to think outside of the box, which I really liked. And she treats ALL of her students equally regardless of race or college status. P.S. I'm white.

Constantly tardy for class. She's late giving back homework, tests, and grades. She was weeks late ordering books that was necessary for class. It's extremely hard to take notes because she talks more about her personal life than what we're here to learn. Her organization, professionalism, & teaching ability needs worked on. I dont recommened her.
