Professor Dunlap is a great guy! He is a little awkward during lectures, but, overall, it's obvious that he loves what he does, really cares, and is willing to help. He also is very clear about the material he wants you to know.

Comment:

His Animal Physiology class was the most interesting class I have taken at Trinity in terms of content but Dunlap himself is a bit of a wild card. STAY ON HIS GOOD SIDE,. Never ever come late to class, always do all of the reading, sit in the front, answer his questions, and act interested.

Dunlap assigns everything and it's awful. He doesn't have an organized syllabus so it's hard to know what's going on. He assigns a lot of reading and he will call you out in class to see if you read. He is very inflexible and holds a lot of field trips out of class time. If you're an athlete in season, DO NOT TAKE HIM.

inconsiderate in the amount of work he gives. syllabus does not have the dates of when papers are due. gives assignments a week or less before they are due. EX: gives us a paper due the friday before trinity days and a research proj. due the day after trin days..group debate and all! He is anal about attendance and being on time. wrote TEN PAPERS!

Dunlap's seminar was hugely boring. 'Science and Religion' sounds like a great intellectual course and very appealing to freshman. He doesn't know how to engage a class and had no grading standards other than whether you shared his politics and passions. He is a biologist and should stick to biology

Prof Dunlap is maybe the funniest man in the Biology department. I appreciate his humor and his enthusiam for the subject matter. He cracks me up in class with his random, abrupt sounds, but that is who he is and it is what differentiates him from his counterparts.

Ummmm... I don't know what these people are talking about. Dunlap is THE bio man besides Blackburn. He's very interesting and knows his stuff, he's not that hard as long as you actually study you'll be fine. He's very helpful, he's a laid back guy in general, he loves what he does... what more could you want?
