Professor Sims is the best professor I've ever had. She is not only passionate about her subject matter, but also truly cares about her students' growth. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to take a course with her, do not pass it up; it will change your life.

Class material was extremely uninteresting. The positive side is that you did not have to read most of the books to get a good grade. Grading is on 3 papers, and the topics are given out a week early. Grading fairly easy, but class is extremely boring.

She is not worth taking a class from. She tries to get students to teach other students. Her teaching style is poor and useless. If you can show up and stay awake durring lectures and understand what she wants and use the text to write your papers you should do fine but she is BORING.

Pretty good class. Good, caring instructor. Very bright but spoke rather softly in class which could render her lectures less effective than they otherwise could be. Overall, I recommend.
