I am in the 7th week out of 16 and all we have done is watch really boring YouTube videos on politics. He hasn't handed out any assignments. He cancels class once a week. (I only go two days a week.) Maybe he's just really busy this semester, but he shouldn't let that affect his class so much.

Dr. Faletta lectures + analyzing articles and reports + watching and analyzing Frontline documentaries. Faletta uses these 3 sources to teach PoliSci, and it's pretty effective. If you are into politics, you'll do well.

Not hard, but you will have to read for his essay test questions (1 midterm, 1 final, 2-3 questions, 3-4 pages each) and you do have to do one 5 page or more term research paper. Very fair in his grading and interesting, not boring at all. Loved the videos he showed.

I took Russian Politics with him (it was a Special Topics course at that time). He get's into the depths of the subject matter and also discussed current issues. He was very helpful in recommending books for my term paper and always liked input from his students. He also has a lot of great stories to tell.

Great Professor, ideology a little to the left, but tries his best to not be biased. Discussion in class about current events and what not. Fun class, I recommend him to anyone and does incorporate jokes with his material. Take Him, he's not demanding at all!

Faletta is an AWESOME prof.! There's lots of discussion in the class on current political issues. His class calls for a couple papers but generally poli sci students expect this. He's very laid back! It's just a great class. I'd highly recommend all of his classes. If you're an incoming student, make your life easy, learn early and take everyhting he offers!

Faletta is a great teacher. His lectures are actually interesting and he always throws in some funny examples or personal stories. He's extremely knowledgable about his field. Straight forward type of guy, wont try to intentionally screw you on an exam.
